I Tested TIKTOK SHOP vs AMAZON identical products

This is unfair because just because it is cheaper doesn't mean it is better

I will say, putting the two different 'wands' against each other doesn't seem fair considering the fact that they both curl for a different pattern.

Can't really go on price as you have Prime.. Can't agree on some due to 'being cheaper' when you didn't pay shipping at all. Js, when Amazon wins cause no shipping..

I know this was at least 2 years ago but I’m new here so. My biggest deal is when shipping costs MORE than the actual product you’re buying. That makes me crazy enough not to buy it or look for alternatives even if they are more expensive.

6:27 no because I do have the wavy talk and I bought it from TikTok and I’m very happy with it and the girls come out amazing. I do not like the bubbly ones because they do come out wonky that’s not the price difference. It’s literally just the wand if she would have used the same one she would’ve ended up with probably the same result. It’s not fair to compare to things when you try out two different attachments.

I know why TikTok takes longer to ship because it’s less money for it and the Amazon one has more money because it’s technically costing faster shipping

I disagree with you about the dress. The Amazon dress was prettier, better quality, and had better finishing. I think you preferred the TikTok one just because it was pink. Besides, the back of the TikTok dress was truly awful. As for the camera, the Amazon one was sharper and more colorful, while the TikTok one was blurrier and duller. And regarding the face-shape feature, since it serves no purpose, or its usefulness is hard to prove/compare, I think neither should have received a point. Similarly, the Cider jumpsuit has a greener color and better finishing on the corset-like part, with real underwire. The TikTok one is duller; it's a fake corset, and it's less attractive.

Amazon is the best

One thing to remember. Both of these companies are completely unethical and don't have the best quality anyways so ... shopping local is always the better choice. Support small business and quality, ethical companies. Capitalism only screws over everyone but the 1%, these large scale corporate businesses are awful to workers, do not use ethically sourced materials, and have horrendous morals all to make money. Spending your money there tells these companies they can get away with it. Supporting small businesses and stopping shopping from these larger corporations can slowly shift away from capitalism, making the 1% meaningless.

9:04 marketing major here: there are currently no laws in place about price advertising. Anyone and everyone can lie about the current and previous price of an item. So whenever you see and item that is on sale and it looks like a ridiculously good sale because of the scratched out “normal price” don’t believe it unless you’ve seen it at the price before (I.e. you’ve had your eye on the product for a while) there’s also plugins like Honey that can show you price trends where you will find out it was never that price before. It’s a huge scam especially with Amazon around their deal days. They raise prices then “slash” them so you’re actually paying more than you would’ve before the deal day

The reason Amazon gets there quicker is because whenever you have an Amazon prime account they guarantee you 2 day shipping.
