I tested the most hyped IEMs to find the best.
Video Overview & Insights
I tested the most hyped IEMs from $20 all the way up to $330. Which of these earphones actually deserve the hype?
Since lots of people have been asking how the EPZ G20 compares: I'd put it on the same level as the Zero2. The G20 still makes a lot of sense for the mic cable and the all-in-one package. But the Zero2 is better value if you don't need that mic cable.
Interestingly enough, the frequency response of the G20 is actually very similar to the Simgot EW300 with the red nozzle: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1g961ADtM2YpynjS79lcqne6iRZLxsEuu/view?usp=sharing

I'm envious of your editing and methodology skills.
It's so nice to see the price scale for each model tested as we don't realize how much of a investment jump that makes.
Unfortunately you obviously missed a lot of contenders making the tittle a bit misleading tho.
The market of IEM is overflowed right now to the point of even affecting the 2nd hand sales.

00:00 - The Most Hyped IEMs
I would 100% recommend anyone that is thinking about buying their first pair of IEM's and does not want to spend a lot of money, to follow this guys's rexommendations
Seriously you dont even know wich sound profile you like and dislike dont bother trying to guess or "feel" the ones that said reviwer told you yo buy if you like 'x' sound profile.
What you should do is buy a cheap pair one that you imagine you would like from the reviews and THEN, only after, hear what people that are reviewing other IEM's say when they're comparing both the one you got and tried already and the other you're interested in.
Only by doing will you have a chance to pick a pair that sounds like what you thought it would sound. It's impossible to predict a sound profile without any ground for comparison.
With that said, get the zero's or even the cheaper one he recommended and if you despise them, return them, and get the pair other reviwers suggested for a person like you that might prefer more bass or less bass or less trouble or more spacious audio or vocals in the front or more emphasis on thr instrumets etc etc.
This is my honesty advice.
00:55 - 1st Bracket

how is that most of this iems are from the same company?
@ORIofficialchannelWhat do you think about the kiwi ears belle ?
@zessteron9676I have a question.
Moondrop aria 2
Truthear × crinacle zero red
Truthear × crinacle zero blue 2
Kefine klean
Simgot ew200
Moondrop lan 2
Which one is the best among these? I am so confused
oh so no truthear pure :( but amazing list review mate
@Mrfak1tThose Hifimans you got are gonna fall apart eventually, that headband is terrible. I had Sundaras with the same headband and lasted 1.5 years
@_paczkiAny letshuer s12 pro mains out there? 🥲
@8lank820That's the video I needed. I have the Albas (picked used but basically new for 90€) and I was thinking of upgrading to something like the Crinear Reference or the Thieaudio Hype 4 mk2, thinking that more money will give me much better experience but now this video put my desires into perspective. I think I will keep enjoying my Albas for much longer.
@m-faccinNice balance overall.
@Rima-0015Now that you got into the rabbit hole, we need a CrinEar Reference and CrinEar DayBreak review! As a fellow TruthEar Hexa and Sennheiser HD490 pro owner, I'd love to know if they're worth adding to the collection.
@ShiroTamashiiBest iem for music around $20 ??
@SachinLimbu77I own the meze Alba and agree there’s are great for the price and the comfort is almost feels like they are custom made!
@davemelnick6977I tried a couple of lower bracket IEMs like TANGZU Wan'er Jade, TRN MT5, Simgot EW100; but ultimately settled with SGOR Venus, 'coz it is semi-open, sound is precise, and comfortable (for me) for long usage. Hope you can also check them out!
@kirovibesFinally found a video that was more understandable and simple for me among a lot of information, I'm just starting to get interested in hifi
@anazurui would absolutely love for you to check fresh review's arete (both) or honestly his entire "wallhack" audio list. id prefer the IEM list the most, but all of his recommendations are very interesting and i, as many others, trust him a lot.
@crysmusic8033Can you try what simgot advertised their "gaming iem" simgot eg280. Comparing it to 7hz zero 2 and crinicle red
@symfora1495Ps. If you just got into iems, just do your own findings and buy. Only trial & error works because i can tell you without a doubt, most of these YouTube reviewers don't know what they are talking about.
@Chapman005But are the better IEMs worth it for gaming? As far as I understand, most games compress audio quiet a bit. So for example in CS2 there is no audio difference(Except tuning)?
@raketepeter627Well I'm not some professional audiophile but i think the budget ones he mentioned bracket 4 and 3 those are just ok .. like castor pro and KZ Duonic sound better than Moondrop CHU 2 not to mention they also have bass version, wan'er SG 2 is nice 👍. But in little higher price KZ Vader is complete beast I have heard to it , it sounds very good the sound seperation and clarity the wide stage feels noticable also bass is very good .. these are just my opinion i don't judge anyone but if we talking budget option these are some of the best ones ... What u say ?
@Parth98GamingKinda meh IEM choice in the high price bracket. Also the
Astral and horizon weren’t hyped what much. Moondrop Dusk , Moondrop Blessing 3 Aqua and Tanchjim lost manor (although these 2 are very hard to get ) , Crinear Reference , and even the Daybrak , the Hype 4 and the Dunu davinci mop the floor with anything KiwiEars has to offer . Did you really did any research 😅
Would love to see where you would fit the artti t10
@OutOTWthank you I'm going withe the truth REDS!
@CalmvexxThis shootout is sorely lacking the latest Planar Magnetic IEMs.
Planar Magnetic gives highly detailed sound and competent bass at the same time from a single driver, arguably all multi-driver configurations are inferior to a single planar magnetic.
can you make a video where you test multiple keyboard brands (like Asus, Razer or china brands like Aula and Monsgeek) Danke
@Ekko-LeonSurprisingly the Albas are too expensive for what are delivering. Zero 2 are better 😂
@Cezăreluzero 2s were awful, you can't hear footsteps, zero separation from L to R. they were blow avg for music too. ES4s were better and cheaper imo.
hexa(sounds good didn't last) & ew300 (weren't very good for gaming for me) died within less than 5 months be warned.. but they sounded good until they stopped working completely.
got the Astrals, endgame for me for the tech vs price
@Frank_P83you forgot the GK Kunten
@steelrey_officialytNot a single comment or mention Samsung EO IA 500 or Sharur? I'm disappointed
@Jfhfhskalcuycjdjsjnwndjvufiwoso for gaming hexa is the best on the 2nd bracket, got it
@HyperDrive365For anyone who interested in Zero Red. The nozzle size is humongous (around 6.7-7.0 mm) These become problems if your ear canal is small, you will get fatique or uncomfortable tight in short period of usage. Not only that, If you not like it eartips that come with it, you will have a hard time to find the right eartip for it giant nozzle.
(I found only Spinfit CP155 and Tangzu Sancai that capable to fit it nozzle. AND I dont recommend any eartip nozzle that too small to pair with red, because it will stretch eartip nozzle forever and you can't fix it)
I owned Zero Red, like the sound but because of these issues, I can't use as much as i want.
where is dita audio project M : ?
@tonychristo119If you get a chance try the dunu braindance... It's absolutely phenomenal for gaming and music 😊
@l67swap1I think if you got the PURE instead of the HEXA, you would like it better than the REDs
@r1ckroldFOSI IM4 all day
@killerbsting1621Would be great to do a blindtest, especially in the over-ear ANC headphone market, the reviews seem a little bit biased and every new headphone seems to be a game changer.
Our unconsciousness wants to believe that pricier and new upp grades sound better and therefore we persuade ourselves.
I own both the Alba and the Astral but I have a different experience:
Astral has been better in everything but comfort, including gaming.
I'd still recommend Meze's Alba for price/performance ratio tho.
Great video by the way ❤
Tangzu Waner 2 still the best for me, for all rounder purpose, music, game, amd discord
