Leaving out UES, Forest Hills, Flushing, Brighton Beach, Coney Island, and Park Slope is WILD. Did we really need Times Square, Midtown, AND Hell's Kitchen over them? Same with LES AND East Village. This is mostly a Manhattan list and is bloated with redundancies.

Who the hell is this video for? Native New Yorkers like myself are curious, but then probably frustrated by your bad takes, but then tourists wouldn't care about the rent. I appreciate that you made this video, but MAN did you miss the mark. Even LISTING modern day Williamsburg makes this whole video invalid.

Jon. My neighborhood Sheepshead Bay is safe . So safe i go shopping at night. So safe during the summertime i go fishing at night. Nightlife in Sheepshead Bay is good. That's pro. Con stores such as pharmacies closing up. Sheepshead Bay lost 2 Rite Aids and 2 Duane Reades.

Too expensive and chaotic… moved to NC 2 years ago…more relaxing and better quality of life.. NYC Is fast paced and set up for the hustle/bustle youth and to make $$…. When u get older u want peace and quiet and where your dollar goes further

@davidpalmer9014In the mid 1990's I briefly lived in Astoria with my friend and his first wife. We were near Steinway street and rent was $800 a month for a 2 bedroom apartment. To save on money I bought roller blades and skated to the 59th street bridge took my blades off walked over the bridge and put my blades on to go to my job, Saving money on the train the N or the R was good it also kept me in shape as good excercise. You mentioned only Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn but no mention of The Bronx where I am from and not Staten Island either. Any particular reason as in to why?
@madmanmark1970i feel like you should have been consistent about showing studios and 3 bedrooms in these videos. Some of these neighborhoods a studios is substnatially cheaper than 1 bed and 3 beds give people an idea of what the place costs with roomates. I've spent way too much time on street easy and generally 3 bed 1 baths are generally the msot cost effective per bedroom in New York.
@ashofaphoenixThanks for including Jackson Heights, where I live. Your take is spot on, but I don't agree about the distance to Manhattan. The express E or F will have you in mid-town in 15 minutes once you're on the train.

@Thaeffintruthi think this was a good honest assessment .. thank you for the inclusion of topics like gentrification. Because while there can be perks to it in some ways, overall it's not a great thing. Definitely changes the landscape/community of neighborhoods and pushes many people out

Greetings for Two Bridges. Glad you are not doing video on Jersey City / Hoboken. Looking but is the verge of being priced out anything of good size, walkable to transit and shopping and not in top end luxe high-rises.
