I have to say that I couldn't run a marathon, but i could definitely walk one at a fast pace. But my main point is that only -11°C is not that bad and I'm very surprised as to how many layers everyone has in the Antarctica stint. This winter i took many 10km walks in under -20°c weather in jeans, a tshirt and a jacket that i see people wear in the autumn, not even a hat or a scarf.

My best friend sent me this video. We’ve always said if we signed up for a marathon, call a doctor lol, we’re definitely sick! @suhascanadavlogs9705One thing I will say about the Antarctica marathon, it is not as crazy as this video and others make it seem. In my country of Finland we have mandatory military service and it is tradition to run 100kn in 2 days (more than 2 marathons), and the average weather during this when I did it was -24C. As long as you have the proper gear it is not as bad as people make it out to be.
@serahillI can’t run anymore but I fell in love with cycling. Very inspirational. Doing my first century on June 20th. This definitely will be in my head when I’m struggling on the climbs. 👏🏼👏🏼🤘🏼
