hell yeah! This story is remarkable and I'm glad they're showing everybody how badass it was that Stallone literally wrote the script and then made the incredibly tough decision to turn down the large money offers hoping that if he held out, he could get a studio to allow him to play the role. It's one of the rarest moments in history where something like this happened. Closest thing would be Vin Diesel wanting to become an actor and making his own short film to prove his acting chops.

Must see. Forget the looks, my goodness shut your eyes and listen to his voice, it is perfect. You have to believe they auditioned a 1000 actors for the role, Looks as authentic as Jamie Foxx as Ray Charles or Jim Carrey as Andy Kaufman. So many actors try in biopics-- consider Taron Egerton as Elton John, Timothee Chalamet as Bob Dylan, Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash, Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen, all of them perhaps honored the person they were portraying, but you never forgot watching their performance that they are doing an elevated imitation. I do not include Jaafar Jackson in the conversation because as brilliant as he is as Michael Jackson, he is his nephew, so of course, he nails it. But this looks amazing. @AarmOZ84they didnt get his face right....its missing that mouth droop plus I actually think they ai'd mixed stallones face with a young version of al pacino also....you can see it in the eyes and mouth.
