Love the video and pretty much touched every single point people hit when starting Quinn. Only major missing thing is junglers not communicating their invades or just choosing not to follow through when you’re about to go. That and trying to elim any sort of tank. Doubly so if they have some sort of engage (looking at you Malphite). Oh, and having next to 0 hp scaling (hence why we buy Edge of Night)

Just an explanation why Quinn is played top instead of mid. Even though it seems like a hyper mobile roaming champion should be in the middle of everything, she can’t. First, her poor waveclear means she relies heavily on tempo pushes, but because of how mid lane operates, she can’t really get a solid position to go to other objectives. For example, if an Ahri throws Q and W to insta clear the wave and then go for dragon, the time it takes Quinn to clear the wave will make it too late to have a meaningful dragon fight. Conversely, if she tries to slow push, almost every mid laner can just nuke the wave and send it right back at her. If she tries to freeze, she’s basically giving the other mid laner free rein to roam.

Second, you’re exchanging her vs a better mid laner. Quinn has solid damage and good mobility, but what makes her amazing is the combination of her w vision letting her execute any unaware squishy and being able to turn almost any 1v1 2v2 3v3 or 4v4 into a 2v1 3v2 etc. The mid laner is tracked only second to the Jungle, so any attempts to leave lane is sending a warning light to the entire enemy team. And for the other part, because the mid laner is already expected to be in most fights, you’re usually just turning a 1v2 into a 2v2. Her damage and kit is good, but not good enough to compare with Fizz burst damage or Azir shuffle.

Finally, items and leveling. In Season 16, there are quests now. The mid lane quest would be perfect for Quinn, but she heavily relies on being even or better. She probably gets close to the best usage out of the extra xp and tp.

I've been enjoying Quinn recently as well, but not in top, mid, or even bot. Quinn in the jungle. Even with the faelights Quinn can fly in so fast the enemy often doesn't have time to retreat without blowing flash.

I also like Kraken Slayer since it's pretty easy to trigger the passive on the item which combined with her passive and the Electrocute run let's her come in with a lot of burst.

I have been playing quinn now as my main for a year and a half and I climbed from silver to gold and plat in 2024
Climbed to emerald half of 2025, and landed in diamond at the end of 2026
The champion has its own strengths and weaknesses, but I have to say competition is a bit higher now with the new season especially that symbiotic is not here for top anymore and that I can't roam much like before anymore
