I made this minecraft cake glow🎂 w/ polymer clay

What started as “just another Minecraft cake” quickly turned into one of my most chaotic (and surprisingly magical) projects yet. Armed with foil, translucent clay, and way too much stubborn determination, I set out to make a cake that didn’t just look pixel-perfect, but actually glowed from the inside. The clay fought back—crumbling, cracking, and testing my patience—but with some pastel shading, a few happy accidents, and a whole lot of sanding, it slowly came together. By the time I added the little pixelated strawberries on top and sealed everything in resin, I wasn’t just looking at a cake anymore—it had become a glowing lamp that feels straight out of Minecraft. And just when I thought I was done, I couldn’t resist making one more surprise piece. (the iconic lantern!)
