I visited Denali from Melbourne, Australia, and had great views of Denali. No cloud cover at all. The tour guide said it was unusual to have a clear view. Thanks for the interesting video of places where many get to see.

Historical accuracy says that BIG rock was named Mount McKinley in 1896 and got renamed by brother Obama in 2015 to Denali to please the indigenous. When I lived in Fairbanks in the 60's and 70's it was Mount McKinley and the RR thru it to Anchorage was called the moose gooser. And the old gold panners/tin knockers/trappers fell into a sourdough nickname. The Alaskan taxi usually is a single engine top wing 4-seater w/tundra tires. Catch our salmon with a wheel in the Chena River and hang them in a 2-story smoke hose.

You got lucky. In a month, that 'skeg is bottomless. You have an ice bottom this early.

I can see how traveling with just one vehicle could be dangerous. Without a second vehicle to help in the tough spots, you could be stuck for an awful long time.

Congrats on ripping up the Arctic tundra for your enjoyment. It's not like the damage you're doing won't last for 100's of years. Wait, actually the damage you're doing will last 100's of years. Have fun.

@andrewstgermaineAseome video as usual.
@foygill711When I was a kid we used to ride motorcycles back in the woods behind out house and there was a swampy bottom area like that. We would put in what we called corduroy bridges, just lots of out dead logs laid down in the mud to drive over. Looked allot like a few of the places yall were driving.
@anthonycrumb9810Don't forget to stop in Houston and see the Batmobile!
@papawheelie5835Why do we make folk heros out of people so inept they put themselves in situations that are almost certain to lead to injury or death? McCandless' outcome was the result of ineptitude.
@patrickbethel855You did more swimming than rock crawing!
@Captain_Bad_BillEpic trip! Awesome video man.
@alaskaoffroadexpeditionsGreat great video thank you for sharing
@ajw007white6In Alaska there is place you can travel in a season and places that will swallow your rig in wrong season.
@bushcraftjoe1Great content
@josephcarbone9566☕️'s great./ Too bad y'gotta belong to a media 'club' to contact ya. My son is a guide in Denali National. Lives at Black Diamond Resort in Healy, about 8 mi. North of the park. He's sent SO many pix home of the scenery up there. The kind you don't see filming trucks on a muddy trail! So many moose and bear, many more than I'd seen in MY lengthy lifetime! I'd have had him find y'all just to shake your hand, but not now. Oh, well.../ I'm sure he'd have got a kick outta you./ T-n-t! P.S.- I understood you were in Denali National Park & Reserve. You must've been in Denali STATE Park, seein' as how you're staying in Talkeetna. My bad. My kid woulda still liked meetin' ya./ Paul Cox could probably get that ol' 5-ton running. Fuel truck too!
@fredwatson441What a very cool experience. Some sketchy places on those trails.
@JanetHall-eh9lqColt, I have a 2012 JK that I geared and now rum 37s. I have the Super Chip and it helps a little....but there is something I run with it and it now drives like a car! Its called the Ultimate9 throttle controller. Installed in 15 mins and everyone I let drive my Jeep gets one. Its like you are driving a totally diffrent Rig.
@patrickmckenney2437Congratulations on the wedding 🎊
@hardknocksphd7696Those tracks 15:55 i believe are from Bigfoot 😮😂🤣👍👍
@STEEL-IN-UTThat track looks like a Pine Martin 😮 15:40 ,,, did you see the movie Red Dawn with Patrick Swayze? I don't know what brought up that movie 😂🤣
@STEEL-IN-UTNo work on cars means no thumps up for me Sorry 😢
@Torix85I bought an SX4 just like that one back in 1982. It would go places you would not think it should be able to. I put a LSD in the rear which helped a lot off road. Great in the snow here in the Reno-Tahoe area. I broke the right rear axle three times at the hub splines and finally gave up on it. Did the trip to Alaska and Denali in July of 1990 on my BMW K75s, started raining at the park and snowing as I was leaving Fairbanks.
@monteforbes7720We loved Talkitna
@oldboaterEpic video thank you for taking me along again.
@michaelhoward5064There were a couple of places where it looked like if your door seal wasn't good you might get wet feet. I live in a rainforest so I would skip the mud but I like old mines. Did you try any salmon jerky while you were up there?
@YukonWhite-i2lReally enjoyed all the great views. The ground waves remind me of a few areas that I wheeled here in NC, swamp land.
@garyinman5400Awesome trip! Which vehicle did better?
@chrisdenning9816@ 32:15 that water is yummy looking 👍😎✊
@steven.h0629Thank You for sharing your Alaska adventures! The nice thing about crossing all those creeks and rivers, is that it cleans all the mud and debris from the bottom of your rigs. Alaskan underbelly wash!

@lizhamilton2015We get mud like that here in Eastern Oregon Buried my 79 chevy step side back in 81 sagebrush flat took a long Handel shove pushed it in hole full length of shovel 😮
@knoxmotorsportsThere is NO WAY 25 Years AGO YOU Would Have Even IMAGINEED OR DREAMED OF Doing What Your Doing & Ya Wow What A Trip WOW INDEED 😜
@rshutterbug47After watching you for a few years, it was fun watching you explore our back yard on Hatcher Pass. Spent last Thanksgiving weekend at the Motor Musher cabin with some friends, good people, great views! You captured the spirit of why we live up here. You should come up in the winter next!
