I followed Mr. Red Jacket on THE LONGEST RUN in Cervinia Zermatt
Video Overview & Insights
One of the largest and most panoramic tourist areas in the Alps at the foot of the majestic Matterhorn, it extends along the three valleys of Italy and Switzerland.
Nice day. Nice hill. Nice snow. But too flat for you guys. A bit too boring of a run.

Thank you for this video!
It's absolutely amazing.⛷️❄️
Filmed on GoPro Hero12 Black in February 2025.

Stunned! I've been skiing for 57 years and have never skied a run that long! 2300m vertical (or 7550' in terms I can appreciate) is absolutely incredible! I'm crossing the Bernese Oberland off my bucket list and adding Zermatt.

i’ve did it like 3 weeks ago probably my best experience for now
@iiago14I have a Greek friend. His name is Krutopizdakis. Like this video.
Want camera did you use? The video looks amazing!
@slicepwnzWOW !!!!!!!!!!!!
@universe-q4w!!!!!!!!
@xas6649Beautiful style, beautiful outfit, great control and great speed. Ten out of ten.
@voightkampff7399That's like me on my stiff 190cm Atomics. Everyone else is poling or skating and I just cruise on through. Useless in moguls though.
@Hertog_von_BerkshireThank you , very well documented , because I will go skiing there in a few weeks
@vladdragos9271this was awesome!
@thaticelandicguyThis is breath-taking. Thank you for posting!
@StroMediaWow! It would definitely pay to know the hill. Some long flat parts that you'd like to approach with more speed. The snow looks great. The barely touched corduroy at the beginning looked awesome. With the shadows and fresher side trails I'm guessing mid-morning? My thighs are burning just watching, lol. What a great video, thank you so much.
@captainover-tighten6729Superior!
@blackhorse9538Intermediate runs in Europe look easier than in Canada
@ryancrits8180The Matterhorn Crossing is, for me, the best place to ski 🥰
@tehtutidibelandaIt is not the longest run there at all....
@ursulamaschberger110I went skiing for the first time today and came home to start searching videos - so glad I found this one! I'm hooked.
@BaxterinottawaWhy bro cuffs his hands at his back?? Kinda looks like he is plotting sth. Hahaha nice run though.
@bodro1786:28 Arc de Triomphe
@T1mm0sLove to give this a go, sadly not much more than a beginner so it would take me a week to get down it 😂
@alexav8050Dusting the slopes! The Alps. Bigger hill than anything I've ever been on. With these people collected on the sides. Why do they think they should be congregating? You must ski!! Woot!! Big buildings up there too. Wow.
@joelhageman19032200m run, 1000m of which is flat traverse at the top of a mountain. What a joke. Boring. there are far better places to ski and snowboard in the world, in California, right around the corner. why did they waster resources putting the top of the lift there?
@orthopraxis235One question, where is the turn off to the Cervinia side, and how long is the ride down to Cervinia from the top of Zermatt?
@bluescrubsn1913❤❤❤❤❤❤
@dashpurevsharavsambuu1753First of all, you fell dude- get back up to the top and start again. Second, congratulations on strengthening the species by nudging a weaker skier or two over the edge- serves ‘em right for being in your way. Thirdly, while I know you were going for quantity over quality, my memory of Cervinia in 1982 was a lot more “interesting” runs. Oh, and the Italian staff yelling over the loudspeaker system “Canadese Pozzi!” Good times.
@aardverks159This is red run?
@minna2013Обалдеть! Молодцы!!
@elenamewis5564What an excellent run. Nice to watch.
@MiSSterSnowa19 minutes I give up
@TTDawg11 minutes on for 20 seconds was nice then you hit kizbul 😂
@TTDawgSo much traversing and flat spots
@TTDawgcrazy
@quince__Not a single snowboard
@neillyfFavorite run to end the day. Why was Hennu Stall empty!?
@SaimaTheSheltiePiste rouge?
@andrespereyra3995Yes. I enjoyed skiing in Zermatt and Vail but, definitely, I agree. I prefer skiing in Zermatt.
@rentaltogoLooks exilerating a bit like what descending on a bike would feel like.
Observations...why are there idiots standing at the top and to the side of trail heads??? What's wrong with these people?? Move of the slope if you ain't skiing there's people's literally coming past you at 50ks also people joining the slope from another one...not one checked I've their shoulder to see if anyone was coming?? We live in a world of complete idiots.
