Atmosphere abounds in a tremolo/reverb with dizzying mix-and-match potential.

Source audio hits need to follow boss with the download format and just make a multi foot switch controller all in one .. the single pedals are ok 🤷🏻‍♂️ honestly the only pedal by them I still use is the eq2

— @TheBenwaugh69

Pathways brings tremolo and reverb together in one compact pedal designed to feel great the moment you plug in. From spring reverb twang and classic amp tremolo to wider, more spacious textures, Pathways delivers sounds players reach for again and again - organic, musical, and easy to dial in.

Source Audio make great circuits, and what first drew my attention to that was the True Spring reverb,- best Spring emulation outside of the real thing, and much more flexible.
Their Tremelo has been upgraded since initial release, and now it's pretty brilliant.I usually stay away from multi effects, but the formatting and interface on this ( like their designs in general) are as simple or complicated as you prefer.
Tremelo and Spring verb are two effects which I'd once foolishly dismissed as being limited and archaic, but the truth is that their primitive origins are what make them endlessly flexible.IF I was still looking for these essential effects to my board, I might just go here, and certainly if I was looking to downsize and simplify, this would be top of the list.
You should check out SA, especially if you're still hung up on aging brands like Strymon; the digital format is still evolving quickly, and SA have been keeping up.

Should I get this or use an rv6 and a tr2?

Great playing John! Source Audio make such amazing stuff. I recently added the Artifakt to my collection of SA pedals. It's so fun making wacky sounds with that thing! Pair it with the C4 synth and itll sound like a ufo is landing in your living room 😂

Source Audio pedals all seem to have no bad sounds. They are not the BEST of the best, but they all sound really good, and they are reliable.

I don’t want pedal designs to stop, but at some point there’s going to be no one willing to spend that kind of money on a pedal that solves for a single lane. The modeling industry is giving you everything in a single device and you’re just being stubborn if you really think that digital is perceivably inferior to the analog counterparts…and for 99.9% of people buying gear- they can’t even use analog gear in the way which makes them special.

This is basically a one stop shop for those of us that love surf rock and spaghetti western tones!!! Might even replace my Strymon Flint 😮

John and PG team 🫶🤟. Been watching since I started playing long ago

John’s kept his mane since … I was already bald in college 😂 🎸 but have kept practicing. Hard and most rewarding when one gets a couple cool tones after reviewing these vids.

Fun and yet informative. U can come back years after and suddenly BAM! U learn something new. Even if not the same pedal but the same type of effect

The pedals may not have the same configuration, which is what makes the journey infinite(ly) magic 🪄 if I may say

Bohlinger 🙌

Do you have roller saddles on that LP ? You are bouncing that bar all over the place and staying in tune , that's awesome !!!

Very nice John. It sounds so good. I can’t afford that pedal but if I could I’d buy one. Sounds better than the Flint.

Hey John, you mentioned your tone using the slapback reminded you of Scotty Moore. It's funny when you said that I was already thinking how much it reminded me of Duane Eddie.
