back in like 2017 when I was a kid i was at a goodwill and some lady was buying this big bag of gba games and she ended up giving me the pokemon leaf green just because i liked pokemon and she just gave it to me for free still have it it’s real and in pretty good condition

Ive played pokemon since pokemon red.... im that old.

But even when i was a kid in the 90s, I didnt ever nickName my pokemon. It felt weird that only mine were nicknamed but every npc just had the pokemon name.

So never did for any pokemon game.

Nothing is wrong with DK Oldies. They clean and restore the consoles and handhelds they sell. They also replace the batteries in GBA game cartridges. Previously, they didnt always do that and after a few mishaps, made it right. They do sell everything for a higher price, but I would rather pay extra for something that works with a guarantee.

Just come to GameStop in Plattsburgh NY. (I live a few towns over) but they sell all the nds pokemon games for cheap, $5-$10 a pop, some still have save files and stuff on them too, idk why other people charge so much, greed is crazy

The Platinum may be a family copy and each named box is for them to put their pokmon in.

I’m glad I bought Emerald and Platinum for both $50 each off EBay 😅 (literally bought it 8/3/2025) and still play them till this day because Emerald was my favorite and I always wanted to try Platinum and Platinum is one of my favorites, I’m going to get White someday just not in a rush to get it, still haven’t fully beaten Platinum yet.

Another thing, I never changed the text speed neither, I was a kid I wasn’t worried about the option settings (had Ruby and Sapphire) but I did do it to the games I have now.

The most I've ever spent on a Pokemon game was when I bought Pokemon White 2, it was complete in box for $190. It's a lot, but for a complete in box copy, it felt worth it.
