I’m Brazilian living in Brazil and working for an American offshore company, allocated at one of the biggest car manufacturers companies in the world. Of course there’s a middleman here, but I’m making 72k. I’m a senior developer but I’m getting paid less than a junior I think. I want to move to the USA someday, but in the meantime I’d like to get a direct hire from an American company but it’s kind of hard to find companies that directly hires from Brazil.

I would recommend a free online boot camp they are actually really helpful and teach you how to apply your skills. I would specially recommend cs50x Intro to Technolgy, they teach you c, python, html, javascript, and css. The course has many problems each week which heightens your skills, and the course is not that fast of pace but also not an easy course. You can even get a free ceritificate for it.
