Coach, you’re getting outmanaged on line usage. The team just survived a brutal seven-game series and you’re running three lines while Carolina is rolling four and staying fresh into overtime.

Montreal has a capable fourth line. Use them.

Your top players are already carrying heavy minutes, and with only one day of rest, fatigue is going to catch up fast. Carolina’s early rust from the long layoff is gone now. If you keep shortening the bench, your stars are going to have nothing left by the third period or OT.

Depth wins playoff series. Trust the fourth line, keep the pace high, and stop burning out the top six. YOU NEED TO BE SMARTER

That was no offside. He didn’t touch that puck til it was on the blue line . I hate Montreal and have always been a bruins fan but that goal should never have been taken away . Montreal was robbed by the officials and the replay clearly shows it.

The reason Montreal isn’t shooting is because they can’t. The Carolina defense is in a class of its own, the Habs don’t have the offensive capability to outplay the Carolina defense. It’s not as simple as these ‘shoot the puck’ themed comments… the Habs don’t have many opportunities. What Montreal needs to do is increase winger speed to create openings, then shoot.
