75 to 90% of my time is on YouTube and when I think about it, the reason I pay for YouTube premium is simple no ads to me that’s worth the price more than any other streaming servicing

If the streaming services hadn't fragmented into each studio it would be much more competitive. We don't need 100 different ones.

I don't subscribe to Netflix, Disney+ or Hulu and only watch Youtube, Twitch and some other free video platforms for all of my entertainment and don't feel like I'm missing anything. Streaming-cutters/nevers will be a new thing that is recognized after cord cutters/nevers.

There's a reason YT isn't as strict with adblockers. Yes, they have measures, but they could always resort to way more restrictive means like the need to disable them in order for users to continue accessing YT.

Quite simply YouTube has the best content at the moment, Netflix/Prime etc all have fairly awful shows, they also don’t let shows grow into something (cancelled after 1 season). So YouTube/Everyday people have the best content 👍🏻

How YouTube Beat Netflix And Disney In The Streaming Wars

The reason that youtube is still dominating in streaming___ Is that for a shared price & the use of its platform it promotes the creation of

(((SUBSCRIBER PRODUCED Or BASED CONTENT)))

Both youtube as a platform and its Subscribers both PROFIT from

( (SUBSCRIBER PRODUCED CONTENT)) That anybody in the world who'm is subscribed to a youtube account can view an enjoy endlessly..

What if NETFLIX had an option for the creation of subscriber produce content from its own subscribers!!

What if STAN had an option for the creation of subscriber produced content from its own subscribers...

What if TUBI had an option for the creation of subscriber produced content by its own subscribers.. How profitable would the platform be then!!!!

What if BINGE had an option for the creation of subscriber produced content from its subscribers...

DISNEY PLUSS

APPLE PLUSS

The list of streamers goes on... point is all subscribers of a streaming platform would love a creative out let that comes as a STANDARD OPINION on their EXPENSIVE subscription to a particular streaming service!

To be able to produce an earn profit from ones own SUBSCRIBER PRODUCES CONTENT on any other streaming service OTHER than youtube would be amazing for both sucribers an ultimately the streaming platform them selfs!!!😊😊😊😅😅😅😅

I'm shocked! It's almost as if when you start churning out crappy movies and you do it long enough, your audience will ABANDON YOU! Crazy isn't it? 🤪

@kennethdavis3736
@

Netflix is crap, the only good thing recently has been Squid Game.

@TaylaJ23
@

YouTube is king. But YouTube search is trash.

@neilugaddan
@

Cooll video, but why not do a story about the real history of online video? I pioneered it back in the nineteen nineties. https://youtu.be/aNGAJAWOKXE?si=AV3TYUHYOSEt05cB

@michaelleegoetzsr.305
@

And YouTube actually has more selection of movies. Especially hard to find older movies.

@bighoss8793
@

I feel like all this talk about YouTube winning the streaming war will cause more companies to make YouTube clones like all these streaming services that are similar to Netflix. We dont want this

@noamdhdb
@

I watch YouTube 3x more than any other channel. I like the animal and baby videos, documentaries, learn to channels. Pretty much whatever I am in the mood for. A couple of weeks ago at the dentist he said he watches YouTube all the time. I’m a 62 year old and I like it.

You forgot about prime video

@tamarayates-butler2863

Even in mainland China, where YouTube is officially blocked, tens of millions of people watch YouTube via VPN

@english_badminton_history

Youtube is free

@bionicwoman9884

YouTube is what the old folks used to call TV. I watch yt when there's nothing else to do. It feels like I don't like it as much anymore, but I still just watch hoping for something to keep my attention.

@Peekul1
@

The video fails to mention that youtube only became profitable by Alphabet forcing advertisers to bundle their traffic with youtube video & display inventory. Prior to Pmax Youtube was losing money. But when you have a monopoly you can force people to buy garbage inventory and get a leg up on the competition by abusing your market position.

@Benzi514
@

I have both youtube premium but also have youtube TV. I tried netflix and cancelled - had Hulu and Hulu TV and cancelled. Tried slingtv for a year and cancelled.

@laserwizard1
@

I watch:
-Tiktok 30%
-Netflix/Prime/Discovery+ 20%
-Youtube 15%
-Everything else 35%

@watchdealer11
@

There should be a free version of Netflix with ads. Like You tube level ads.

@Fnndjkvlf
@

I love Youtube...but it doesn't take the place of Netflix and vice versa

@jeronroland989
@

There’s also A LOT of bad content YouTube. I’ve come to appreciate talented writers again. Just because you can shoot a video, doesn’t mean you should.

@jomojustin
@

Youtube premium is definitely the most important service I pay for. If I had to keep only 1, it's not even close.

@xGaLoSx
@

I hope that we will have streaming films on the YouTube subscription once and I will delete all other applications

@garvae
@

YouTube will surpass traditional media; with streaming services prices rising the younger generation will move on to the next best thing.

@Trapman-nt
@

YouTube is so good I pay for premium because it doesn't feel right that it's free

@randomnombre2386
@

My main gripe with YouTube is that even if you pay for Premium (ad-free) access, they still heavily restrict what creators can show or talk about, instead of giving them a secondary Premium feed that's less restricted. If I'm paying for the service I'm clearly an adult, so forcing man-on-the-street reporters like Tyler Oliveira or Channel 5 News to put more extreme stories or scenes behind a Patreon paywall could potentially drive people away from paying for YouTube Premium and going to another platform.

@jjerkamillo
@

Because the content creators for the YouTube are people

@ArulPalanisamy
@

Were watching youtube because its free but if another same platform would appear i would change in a second . because way too many ads disgusting. Youtube is getting so greedy its terrible. How much money do you want ???

@joeblack8478
@

Also streaming series are so bad now that user created content is about as good. As soon as streaming starts to create good content again you'll see it becomes more viable again. Look at Apple TV, few shows but really good

@Tarquin2718
@

I live on YouTube 😵‍💫

@Kolya-chu

Muzz is for conservative/religious Muslims. Is it cool to call all Americans Mormons?

@sco6729

I‘m GenX and I am watching YouTube daily. 😅

@timoschca

Thank o
You for making this ptigran abd airing it er I mran ceating thus viemdeo and uploading it..

@joestrahl6980
@

Ive been watching youtube exclusively since 2013.

I dont have any subscription other than youtube premium and tidal.

@jooroth18
@

Youtube is google.
Google wants monopoly domination.

@clowdrain99
@

Then maybe they should pay their creators more since they force most that regularly post on it to go to sponsored vids or multiple channels since their algorithm blows and their pay structure doesn’t work anymore.

@ASKane3337
@

In the end. You can’t beat free.

@Undecided0
@

YouTube is a series of companies.Netflix is only 1 company.youtube is clearly the winner.

@CameronBlair-s4s

Youtube, I know your listening. Please turn down the volume of the commercials in your movies. Or turn up the volume of the movies and leave the volume of your commercials as is.
