Hi Adam, love your channel and your insights. 2 quick tiny things, your sound clips quite often so you might want to turn the gain down slightly or reposition the mic, and do a sound test including getting Trademark Clery Animated! Secondly, some of the cuts to images of the game were without context and I found them a bit confusing at the start especially. I hope that's helpful, its awesome to see you grow your own channel and I know you want it to be high quality, these are just my personal thoughts to be ignored! German managers just know what attitude a team needs to show in a tournament. No nation has been more often in a world cup final than Germany. They never had the best players in those teams but they know something about attitude and mentality a tournament squad needs to have. Now England has all these fantastic superstars and a german manager that teaches them the right mentality. For me they are the best contender for this world cup.

Rice is our biggest weakness coming out from the back. He stays massively rigid on the left and poor Anderson was left doing all the work. Tuchel needs to make him move and tell him to look for forward balls instead of passing it back to the back 4. Taking him out of that position just go get rid of him further up the pitch is gonna cause other issues down the line.
In fact working out from the back was mostly poor apart from when Anderson decided to pull off a worldy pass to Bellingham. Our biggest strength that made chances was our pressing in the opposition half. We'd genuinely be better off with Pickford hoofing it up and taking it from there.

Only thing that worries me about this england team is the left hand side of the defense. Stones and O'Reilly were getting beaten when Croatia attacked down that side.

1st half was too negative - excessive passing back allowing themselves to be put under pressure. They changed this in the second half.

I remembered watching City fail to beat Tuchel teams on several occasions and thinking "he's got Guardiola's number." - a rare thing in football.
I wondered why he took the England job, he's German...
He's reportedly an Anglophile. He complained about the photographers blocking his line of sight to the players during the anthems, he wants to be able to see them and he wants them to be able to see him and he recognises the importance of the anthems. He's the real deal from a "national pride" perspective.
And then the tactical switch for the 2nd half. Holy god. And then the substitutions.
He really is making the England team a sort of compilation of the best of the Premier League - Arsenal's set piece acumen, plus inverting fullbacks, plus a smattering of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich genius.
Against a Croatia side who are tough to break down - Josko Gvardiol may be coming back from injury but he is still an elite centre half and his goalie stopped it from being an absolute rout.
Very impressive, keep it up!
The last time i saw an England team as good as this was under Glenn Hoddle in 98 who had the same sort of Philosophy to tuchel playing on the front foot.

This was the best game of the Tuchel era. We'll have to see the team against lesser opponents who will defend for 90 minutes and attack on the worst possible moment.
I've been supporting Brazil and England when Turkey is knocked out or not in the tournament for 40 years now and on England's part; I'm tired boss. I do not believe in Tuchel but I really want him to prove me wrong.
