Some Czech are good, no doubt about it. We are among them. See us. 🙂
@patamat_czI am a Buiness Management lecturer from Uni in Melbourne Australia thank you for the humor I will be showing my students your talk and we might even analyse this in class
@YvonneLennardAnd on top of showing our beautiful city, Janek also introduces Czech (a little bit) outlandish sense of humor :)
@PetrSojnekThis is brilliant
@paulsven7923I have been many times to Prague (Praha). Yes I saw your videos,so I wascareful..but been scammed by taxi. He wanted to charge 10 times the price by manipulating taximeter.
Anyways..my point is when You ( Mr Janik) doing so much stuff, should not be it easy for police to take action.? If i was in a position, I will stand with a Megaphone,warning the tourists...where ever a business, or taxi, restaurant, cheating/scamming peple. Just be bold enough, and warn tourists of the scams.
any tourist who goes near elementary schools while touring will see that nation as people with very strange looking faces... - probably get taught many many swear words from the strange faced parents...
@MEANASSJAMSTERAt one time I went back to my school canteen, cause I miss my oldens days. And I was accuse by the school guard I am eating student's meals. But the canteen time for students meals have passed and the canteen operators are free to sell their food to me.
@wendyshoowaiching4161Good business for locals
@wendyshoowaiching4161Oh my goodness, we need one for India! It would be about 50 episodes, with the shenanigans going on there!
@DeedeeveniceI am familiar with Janek & Honza's work on the "Honest guide", and recommend it highly if you visit Prague.
That being said, I remember seeing a version of the Paternoster, in Italy, featured in the movie "The Omen".
unfortunately everything described can easily become yet another addition to the overtourism pile.
@jayreed9370Use and spread the great words of Yogi Berra : “No one goes there anymore… it’s too crowded!”
@bobzanowicz9555This was absolutely delightful. Gonna check out the Honest Guide now 😂
@Britta_no_filterJanek is very proud to be Czech, and thinks the world of his home city of Prague. It seems that he wants more people to visit and experience Prague, and those scammers are giving it a bad name, and he's doing something about it. Well done.
@robertmaxa6631Ahahaha...Great video Janek...
@hugosequeira2997Damn, I was there a month ago and didn't know about the "Honest Lamp" I missed my chance for luck, fame and wealth!
@TrippinWithKennyLet us start with the calculations - 10 000 000 tourist annually - that means 27397 tourist visiting Prague daily. But I stood in Prague for four days. And I think I am not far from the average stay of a tourist in Prague. Well this means that in Prague there are around 110 000 tourist.
So Prague has to deal with around 110 000 tourists simultaneously. That is a big amount of people.
I am watching your channel often and I like how you show the scammers. Also I appreciate your advices about Prague.
I really enjoyed this talk, so creative and hilarious haha, Now Czech is my bucket list.

@escapesalou9485Is that Survival Lilly at 9:28?
@boneplanetfilms1986love your videos and can work for almost any city. I travel to Paris (not so much recently) for work. I have to wake up EARLY, and found I didn't have to wait in line to see the gargoyles of Notre Dame (in fact attending an early morning service is one of my favorite memories). Cold winter morning photos show Paris almost empty, except for street cleaners. People can't figure out how I'm photo shopping people OUT of my photos! Or why I eat at places with only locals, and so inexpensively. I have a bakery that knows me, and my love of their quiche slices (mile high quiche I call it). They love me as I love their quiche and maybe a few Madelines....WAKE UP EARLY!
@kittymervine6115This guy has a great YouTube channel showing tourists how not to get scammed.
@auxmike718Agreed. It makes the city enticing and fun.
