How To Win More League of Legends Games (No, Seriously)
Video Overview & Insights
Today, let's talk about tips for everyone who plays league of legends - regardless of skill or rank. This video should help nearly everyone aside from the very top of the line challenger players who already are professionals at the game. For a casual player who plays this game because they enjoy it, these tips will help you 1v9 in ranked, have a little more fun, and get some dubs. This video was written, produced, edited, and voiced by Kellen (Exil)

Started playing this and I’ve never played this game ever. It’s been 10 days and I’m at platinum. I just realized there are players that take the joy out of this game. 124 matches in ranked and I can’t get out of platinum. I hate this game not because it’s bad. It’s actually good. I hate the players.

So, what's the secret trick? Not spamming swastikas, and being a decent human being in chat?

Where you been bro I miss you :(
@Deadsies556One of the better tips ive seen work out, support your weakest player. Even if they are out of position, going to the wrong onjective, pushing instead of defending...
You have a better chance of winning by helping rhem play poorly "well" than you do by 4 guys playing right and letting one dude feed their carry.
Work as the best team you can with the players you have, dont get tilted that someone isnt following the same reddit strategy thread you saw.
25:00 Its very good logic
Neutral stats dont mean anything, bc you are neutral to your team.
You dont win, you dont loose. You wont win the game by being neutral.
You not that part of team who is making team winning.
Bc team is you and others. SO sb NEEDS to get it forward.
Im mean, by being neutral. You not in bad position. So you have always some window for actions on map, some impact.
12:45 im mechanically comfortable on Teemo xD
Like playing this champ gives me +7 points in luck.
12:10 Im sure he for once checked each champ skill descirption
Its hard to be so good and not knowing what exact effects each champ has, bc some abilities have passive apart from usable skill.
And usable skill can have some aftereffect under certain condition...
8:40 Taking baron is risky
Enemy can steal it and its big deal
Low elo is aware thats its hard for them predict outcome of this "baron-call" and for low-elo baron is more like gamble...
9:30 Well, with team ACE its just better to push mid if you have fast pushing champs. in 30s you can destroy 4 towers with inhib
OMG loosing soul is huge, thats PERMAMENT buff that wont come off, especially in the context of LATE GAME, when items of both teams equalize.
But its always possible to win against soul, just hard. Even when you have 0 drags by some accident. But you just need to have better skill teammates from the start or late-game scalling champs...
You know, you can have weak jungler and loose soul and all 4 drags, but rest of team will somehow carry through this buff in late game.
Pls don't say elo hell doesn't exist. In a product that requires people constantly using it such as league, the main goal of the company should be to keep people playing. They can do that by finding the the right combination of wins and losses to keep the player engaged the most. If you play more after a loss trying to win, then the game knows they can put U in losing games to make someone else, who's unstable, win. Its a statistical impossibly for someone to rank up 3 tiers because of consistent wins and then go 8 loss streak. I am ok with losing games I like to learn. But sucks when I get put in a game where the probability of winning is against me from min 1. I've gone from iron to silver in a week of playing 2 games a day. But when I'm silver lose on average 4 impossible games in a row, where I am doing well in most. Then after the losses, get 1 win, and start losing again. I went from a 60% winrate to 42% winrate in a few weeks.
But here's the kicker. I start a new account. And I get from bronze to gold in a week 60% winrate. And the only difference was, after losing a single game, I close the game and client and stop playing for a few hours or the day. This didn't detilt me or anything. But it did make the game think that it will get less engagement from me if I lose. But if I win I'll keep playing. Taught riot that I will play only if I win, and so it just let me win. I literally couldn't have tried less to win the next 5 games in a row, but I did. I consistently went in 3 wins in a row. But after every loss I would close the game. Eventually in plat, I got a 10 game win streak. That is a statistical impossibly in skill based matchmaking. But it just wouldn't stop there. I would very often win 9 games in a row. Hit emerald real quick. My main is still not able to get out of silver though cuz I trained it for years that I was happy to play, win or lose. But now with a new account that doesn't know that, it just lets me win. It puts me against people that are ok with losing and makes them lose with bad players but puts me with people who statistically will win the match. That's how I went from silver to emerald in a month after not changing anything I did in game, but just trained the client to let me win
nice ragebait, try having insane loser queue
@traktorgunnar6054yall are getting win streaks?
@chriswellman4963Cheers to you Exil
@dinocarpetner7742I get the logic behind muting chat but I got to plat by just countering the negativity in chat with overwhelming positivity. My jungler mental boomed 3 minutes into my plat promo game, and I just started glazing him non stop. We turned it around and won and celebrated together. It was amazing!
@nitrocatofficial6939I accidentally liked this video twice...
So I liked it a third time xd
Do these tips still apply now?
@JDar23great video!!
@jaygilliland3371Just play Swain, ez fix
@lakeside1168What do i do when i have 7 games of inters on my team in a row
@grkeren5487nope always get noob teammates
@jaxyone491its so unfortunate how out of date this is, like its largely good with random little tid bits that are awful advice in todays game
@Joy_incim swapping over to this from dota 2, and from my experience there, the best way not to tilt is to simply focus on your game and mute everone. Assume everything that happens to your hero is your fault
@rigbone4357Why do you full mute? It's so annoying and discouraging when I feel like I am playing by myself... and no one responds
@koreathhey man, did you delete your twitch? i cant find it?
@dudeu6why is he creaming to korean players
@vexling111Only thing I disagree I was plat one season then I placed silver the next and grinded all the way to masters within 4 months I would consider that a quick improvement
@zekuulolI’m mostly a solo player and I just hit silver for first time last night using mostly Sivir!
@PKzennLosers q is real tho Riot has literal legal patents filed
@BurritooMafiaJust don't lose, worked for me
@ShortfarawayI know it's an old video but I came back to LoL after a 2 year hiatus. But I feel like I gotten worse as a player. I feel like SoloQ is more caotic than ever. One match my teammates refused to team up, even when they already lost their lane. I don't want to critize anyone by the way, I'm very bad overall. Currently I trying to learn Zeri. She's super fun and if it is even possible for me to climb out of Iron.
@Nanarina94The tip of touchin gras is the best <3
@Blackrose_0812mute all, study the game, know league is a competitive game not for win not for have fun just for improve your self win/fun is a consequence
@joaofranciscovargas3926Farm more, hover fed teammates, take smart fights. Win.
@SmokedBisquethis man is onto something
@4z1z_SBros delusional if he think toxicity ends at the chat
@JVGaming123just play teemo
@Lum1n24thI agree!. I just want to get better to play with my friends since they play like pros and I just feel like a bottom feeder when I play with them
@easybreezy6subbed, really good video. Appreciate the tips
@Chris45409BRUH MY WINRATE IS 14% WHAT SHOULD I DO
@susbruh5497League is one of the best learning curves for trying alot of stuff succeed and fail until you get better
Its like testing your talent in many forms
Its basicly trial by error til you master its many mechanics
I’m iron 4 hard stuck thanks really needed this
@Local841ty for wasting 25 min of my life
@Wixtechtips-wI’m new to League of Legends and struggling to improve. The game keeps matching me with strong players, and every time I’m about to get a kill, someone else takes it! :c
ARAM is especially overwhelming because there are so many champions to learn, and I often end up with a KDA like 3/12/20 lots of assists but way too many deaths.
Does anyone have any advice on how I can improve?
bro is compassionate....thank u
@artificialg1rli kind of randomly clicked on this video because i am about to get back to league after a break (i am downloading the game at this moment), and i can safely say that your mindset is EXACTLY the one i am working on adopting myself.
i started playing the game a long time ago, after my brothers introducted me to it. i've been playing a lot, and i developed a pretty unhealthy relationship with it, to the point that i had to quit multiple times because of the mental health state it was putting me in.
now i just play a few arams, from time to time, just to try to enjoy this part of the game without having to think a lot and put a lot of time and practice into working on getting better, but i would also say that i never gave up on it, because i want to know what it feels to be good at it, to play with good people, maybe meet some youtubers/streamers that i like, etc...
hopefully i can make it happen someday, and if i do i will remember this video!
i think i will take a look at other videos from you, and maybe even at your stream! :)
keep it up! you're on the right path!
Is this Exil?????
@tokyorain8857Elo hell might not exist statisticly, but riot can enforce it by other ways. You cpuld still get a 50/50 winrate and derank when the game just thinks you wr in invalid and gives you less lp then ot takes on a loss.
