Okay so PSA for anyone watching/reading this 2 years after the fact - the lvl 1 analysis is wrong and had nothing to do with the outcome of the lane(Jax should have lost the lvl 1 if Mordekaiser was of equal rank/skill). Mordekaiser refused to recall after getting the crash and then proceeds to take a fight lvl 5/6 down 1050g in items.

1. AD vs AP debate at level 1 is irrelevant as you're are going to compare base stats and passives instead(either look up what opposing champion does during loading screen or click on the champion and compare his AD, AS and HP to yours). Mordekaiser simply has more stats than Jax does so in any prolonged fight, such as the one OP took, Mordekaiser should win by default.

2. Mordekaiser wasted his first Q and canceled 2 auto attacks(compared to Jax auto attacking a minion once). Another thing Mordekaiser could have done is not take minion aggro because they end up doing approximately that auto attack on minion worth of damage to Mordekaiser(and, unless you're Sett, it's not a great idea to tank lvl 1 them in general).

3. Mordekaiser as a champion is bad and if you're going to play an inherently weaker champion you must understand how to gain advantages. Fighting when you're down 1050g worth of items is just not it.

You take what opponents give you but, aside from explaining the cannon crash into the turret, this video doesn't do a good job of explaining wave control.

As a new player I want to say: The hell is bro yapping about? I feel like the how and why isn't explained and just taken for granted in this video, like the basics of when minion waves come in

There are very few champs that can win lvl 1 vs morde because of his passive. The beggining is misleading to say the least.

Yeah Idk seems like too many concepts for me. You are winning based off game knowledge but then in a coin flip all in at the beginning of the video 0:09 you almost die to what? mechanical failure? If that melee minion died 9 FRAMES later you would have lost. There's just a lot I don't understand and I'm doing my best to digest all the info

I’ve been playing league since the beginning and have recently got back into it! I will be honest this video was amazing! I loved how you had the mini quizzes in there to give us a chance to use our game knowledge. I was surprised with a lot of the info here honestly like an aha moment for me 😂

Honestly I didn't understand this. It is complicated, and it is not just wave control about minions thats an advanced laning lesson which is too much without the understanding of WAVE control (MINIONS) and not the whole lane

I think more clarity is needed. You say "Because of the even minion rule, when the waves are even, it will push the opposite way." For whose side? In the case mentioned, the minions are even in number but your minions have lower hp so that means red minions should win then die to tower. Or, because of proximity to tower, the reds should melee should die.

Your mistake (that Morderkaiser did not punished you) was your matchup knowledge, you don't win early trade against morderkaiser if he knows how to play it for, you can't trade lvl 1 against him... he played badly, he could won because he IS STRONGER

can't control the wave if they always poke u and everytime u try to punish them for being so aggro u end up almost dead or literally dead no matter what u do, evem in low elo, suddenly players learned to properly lane and punish every single time
