@WBGooderhamWell in my Vietnamese culture we always use the Semicolon for sperate numbers apart (Like 1;2;3;4;5...)

@pseudonymous317A great explanation of the differences between semi-colons, Commons, and periods! There is another video by โthe School of lifeโ that explain between semi-colons and full colons! Basiclly: the difference is that full colons imply that 2 sengenes are realtid, but not dependant, that the following reason(s) is not a full explanation. For example: I feel melancholic; Autum! In this case, their feeling of melancholy is realted to the fact that autum is Coming, but is not a full explanation of why he feels melancholy, like โI feel melancholic: autum is Coming!โ Which makes it sound far more logical in a Way that just dossent Apple here, or in most human situations!

@layo6836"The King abdicated, however, he was rapidly replaced". That's incorrect, of course! However is not a FANBOYS conjunction. A solution is to place a semi-colon before the however. I sense the semi-colon is falling out of favour now anyway, ousted by the m-dash, not least because writers find the semi-colon virtually invisible in many typefaces. Read any erudite Wikipedia articleโthe top dot is printed so small that the mark looks like a simple comma.
