Well for everyone , just dont be lazy , remove switch plates and contact plates , for fk sake just two screws(or even better the some are click)...no need to remove the switch...turn off the braker,remove the plates , paint it , wait to dry, put the plates ...done oO

@benjiedematera6926Only thing, start the pad about 4" away from the line and move into the cut. It gets the flow started and dumps the excess. I love these things.

@juliewilsonriola9471If using quick dry paint inhot climate I wouldnt cut in all the way round, just a 2-3 foot area switch to roller then do your lsps so everything is going wet into wet, then overlap your brush in just like your roller laps and repeat. We have long rooms and quick drying paint and hot climate at the moment, so this way keeps the cut ins blended.

@clintyoung8073Great video... but first time painters, please remove all electrical covers and place the hardware in a zip lock bag. Cover the plugs with tape. Reinstall once the paint fully dries. Will give your project a professional look.

@mattgehrkeUsed this before doesnt get flush with the edge. Plus you still need a brush for areas that can't fit like the side of the light switch, should've taken the cover plate off first btw.

@Golden_RacconPro tip. When you first cut in the ceiling and baseboard, also cut in 1 side of every inside corner, then Roll the walls. Next round do the oppositide sides and roll your 2nd coat. These can load much better than a paint brush.

@HeatherBDentureDiVaPay a decorator. Putting paint on a wall is 20% of the job. The work you dont see is what makes apaint job work the money

@Himeko-astralOf course some edgers are better than others so be sure to get a quality one! Worth the extra $. One important thing you did not mention is to feather the non-cut edge so you don't have a line. Also, when loading the pad, be careful not to get paint on the wheels.
