Oh I absolutely needed this. I'm a new teacher and I started only 3 lessons ago, they've been an absolute chaos so far. I'm 20, my students are 15, and so far I've been freestyling about 40% of my time there. And as you said, I had absolutely no idea on how to run the class. It's hard getting kids 5 years younger than me to focus and to respect me. And it's especially hard getting confident.

Hi, Eric. I appreciate your techniques. Also, you speak clearly and at a moderate pace. I'll bet that makes English comprehension easier for your students.

Is there a company or certification that doesn't require thousands of dollars in debt for a bachelor's?
I paid a little over a thousand on personal training certification. Only to make a lousy 20 an hour. Im not about to pay $100000 to make 20-25 an hour.

I'm studying a Master of secondary teaching in Tesol and Hass. They do not provide any valuable example. All they do is make us read tons of academic papers and demand assignments without practical explanation. I'm so frustrated. Your lessons, on the other hand, are so useful and real, creative and engaging. They give me hope.

This guy had teaching in his DNA. It is unfortunate that 90% of teachers (at all levels) get into the business for the pay, vacations and pension while only 10% because they love teaching.

Do you mean we should start with a grammar introduction?? They don’t need to know what past tense is, they need to know how to use it in context. It doesn’t sound exciting or fun for them to start saying the grammar topic. Don’t you think??

the way you say class/past/ask/last is so annoying, using american pronunciation while talking south african english doesnt work.

Wow, you are really good! I've been teaching a group of 7 teens conversational class in France and they are so unmotivated. Maybe you can make a video on how to motivate teenagers and how to start an ESL class. Should I write down the key points on the board beforehand or whilst I teach? Thanks!

One of the most important things about teaching ESL is that when you say "Let's go to the supermarket," the ESL student hears "LezzgozhHursupmkMtmm."
