Hi Kevin 👋🏽 I have a genuine question that I'm hoping you can help with. I am also located in SoCal and need to re-pot my fuerte avocado, meyer lemon, and satsuma mandarin tree. They are all between 3-4 feet and in 3 gallon buckets. I bought them over a year ago and don't want to risk transferring them improperly and having them die on me. They're flowering beautifully and have given me a few fruit already but I know they would thrive if re-potted. What do I need soil-wise so I can transfer them confidently with as much nutrients as possible to help them succeed. I love these trees but worry I'm going to kill them if I'm not careful.
I saw the video of you potting blueberries and how much variety of different things went into the soil and obviously just putting them straight in dirt isn't the best answer for them.

Last year i saw this video and wow. its offically been a year since my first garden!!!!! i grew tomatos and carrots becayse i only eat red and orange things like peppers and oranges? maybe next years crops? lets get this alien gang lets invade earth and grow food for our own!

So until recently we havent had a garden for 17 years and back then I didnt really care for gardening. But now finally having one again after sooo long and being older/wiser im actually really loving doing bits of gardening! Its highlight of my day waking in morning and going out to see the progress of things ive grown. There's nothing quite like it! Nowhere near at your level yet though 😂

This is a great video. So detailed and easy to understand. My only question is, how does where you live affect when you plant? I’m in NW Ohio and I feel like if I started planting in January everything would freeze and die.

@AR-reeziviba9:09 peat moss is a renewable resource. There are massive farms in Canada that can reproduce it easily. The economical standpoint is to decide what is closer what has to travel farther to reach you so if you're in the South coconut coir is going to be more ecological if you're in the north peat moss is
