I bought the Lit Letter flash cards. They are all lower case and have pictures drawn in the shape of the letter to help kids remember when they see "a", "a" is shaped like an "apple", "aahh"... However, I really like your cards are very easy to read/focused and includes both upper and lower case. Would you recommend I also buy your flash cards when getting my 4yo learning phonics?

What if your child always says the animal or word instead of just the letter sounds?
@jheuelcarter-guy2242Should I be teaching the letter then the sound???? Like should they know their letters before I introduce the sounds? Are we doing them both at the same time?
@GrowthofagardenThanks again
@barisitombeage8784This guy is SUCH a great source because he’s the combination of fun dad and learning lol! As a mom I’m typically the “boring” one in the family who the kids run to when they need soft loving and nurturing. Dad is fun. Learning needs to be more fun :)
@aubriellerivera6098Thanks for this amazing lesson.
@HeadlineEnglishThis is brilliant! My third baby is almost 1 years old my oldest 2 are adults I wish I knew this earlier. THANKYOU so much!
@KristenoyinboAmazing tips in this video. You make learning for kids practical and easy. Thank you!
@LearningwithLondon-hc8qkWhat if they can’t identify the letters?
@creedsucksass5851At what age can I start?
@DavidGarcia-xz1uiI needed this. Thank you!! I realize now that I've been doing all the wrong things. Thank you!
@Layla00078Thank you
@Odd_ExterminatorGreat motivation. Thank you
@krzysztofkowalczyk8731I am going to start today. I will follow up and let you all know how it went. My boy will be 4 in December and it’s time!
@Luna-Night-XoWow 🤍🙏 thank soo much! I get stressed when he doesnt listen. This alll makes sense
@user-le7so8sw8jDo we have to teach sound and letter together

@melindaadams3957I have a 12 yo now having a 4 yo, thank you! I forgot how many steps to reading there is, it’s become overwhelming to even think about. Thank you for simplifying 🎉
@lizh4817I’m going to try this , my son will be 3 next month and I feel like he’s not using sentences like most at his age. He keeps repeating and i sometimes worry but then he will follow commands and tried hard to answer me. 😢 all started with ear problems but he knows all the letter and sound and shapes and animals. I just don’t know what to say or how to keep conversation, I feel Ike he doesn’t understand me.
@jarlo_marz8Hello
@syedaumamaummu9398My 2.5 year old knows what sound the letters make but when it comes to blending the sounds together (i.e. c + at = cat), he doesnt compute. How do I move from knowing the soinds to knowing the words?
@Dellau2002My daughter already know the sounds of the letter, now my problem is i'm having a hard time teaching her how to combine each letter sound to read 😅
@gabriela0958Thank you so much, this is the perfect video. I've been wondering where to start. The toys are a great idea and lowering my expectations is always a must. 🙏
Question: do you start teaching sounds even if they can't name the letter by looking at it?
14 years old intellectual disability
epilepsy adhd AdD
newly diagnosed with autism
Several behavior meds
School focused on her sitting still in a class room
She not learning anything 😢
I will follow your plan this summer
Where can I get the same alphabet flash cards?
@luckys2913Hitting the flashcard idea is genius. I just started with my four year old and the two year old wanted to join in too! They just did six letters and it wasn't frustrating at all!
I know I've got to start my four year old reading. She's got at least half the children's books in the house memorized and she "reads" to her sister daily. It's time. I told myself I didn't want to teach a child to read, but if all your tips are this good, I think I can do it!
am going to start now!

@tomienomatama6567My daughter loves jumping on to letters
@DrinkthedamncocoaMy toddler is 3.5 yrs old now. He remembers the letters by just ABC songs but how do I change that to the letters pronunciations.. cuz he goes straight to just saying A!! B!! C!! And I tried to repeat so many times with the pronunciations but he does not seem to accept that 😆 i keep repeating but it's just not happening. Is this just the normal process of ,,,now it's harder cuz he already knows ABCs? I would love to hear about a similar experience.
@whiskers2502Oh My! How creative!!
@aditibhalerao6453Cant wait to try this today, Thank you again for inspiring us
@ToddlerBeatsWhat do you do if they have already learnt the letters rather than the sound and only reply with the letter rather than the sound.
@akritishrestha8123At which age should I get started with my 2yo? Thank you very much!
@rosesoothsayer6904Thank you for this
@wholisticallyhood215Wow this is super helpful! Thank you!

@ChristopherWilson-k9hHow long it takes a kid to read
@AbdulahMustefa-h3m🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@TsagabMatI love your videos and the alphabet cards that you use. Can you tell me where I can purchase the cards? I especially like that each card has both the upper and lower case letters.
@lorrainerusso1667I did this to my toddler, now she reads so well at 6yo (long words and words with suffix/prefix) in Grade 1 she is sharpening her spelling, reading comprehension and writing skills. Repetition is the key. I placed letters and say the sound in every nook in the house. She developed sound association of the letter to the place it is located.
@shekinahrhema1544Hello teacher!
@josephgenor5152Any advice on teaching to read in 2-3 languages sinoultabeously?
