when you ad that hardware is it going to peel around the holes, should you ad hardware after you paint.
Eastwood has everything you need to do the job right when you're restoring a car, truck or motorcycle - from welders to paint and everything in between.
You never see them sanding the edges.

As far as the finger fatigue with the spray, can they have a snap on gun handle for spray cans thatâs cheap why donât you get one of them when you do these videos you donât have to make out like you donât know how to spray without your finger hurt hurting, and I canât believe that you would take that tailgate in and out to that little makeshift spray room just a spray spray, tan primer and paint that is ridiculous. A hover board donât you think thatâs why people canât stand somebody elseâs videos.

@daad717Unbelievably job by an aerosol can.... đđ
@jeremyhowerton5974There isn't a 2k spray can primer in my country (GREECE). What type of 1k is better for a good result over the putty? Thanks.
@panosfromathensReally could have done without the bgm. Quality is otherwise awesome.
@thestorytelleruk[ thank , you for youre helpful video. im. working on a 1951 , ford f-5 flatbed truck.]
@GarlandKent-y6kDo you have any spray cans that can handle that "ridiculous angke"? I can't turn my car on It's side.
@bbjack5598Interested đ
@darusillahamun1340I am dumbfounded, I would of never used body filler on that type of dent.
@keepitrealandtoastyI am now even more convinced not to try this at home!
@michaelingram2088Are you just using water to sand in the spray bottle? Or is that something else?
@ghst67Thank you so much for this. Have an old 99 Ford F350 I got from my uncle. Not very well kept. And just being able to a do a body panel or so to revive it would really help. And it doesn't have a tailgate. So guess what panel I'm purchasing to do first. Thanks agian.
@marvindeese8452Love this. Top of our Porsche is sunburned something awful and that's something I didn't want to pay a fortune for as it will happen again here in California and no one really looks at the roof much. Perfect place to see how this turns out!
@jetpackband3523Yeah I'm pissed off, I've tried this, failed miserably!!!! Practice makes..... Screw it I'm just going to wing it.
@maxstorm44518How long do you wait between the color coat and spraying the clear coat
@tmtexas179Finally a simple easy to follow video !
@BRichards-y8tHe said nice and hard
@jeffpaxton9172How many cans of color and clear for this job??
@kona6451always had issues trying to use rattle cans even when mixed, prepped and degreased correctly the cans are just a pita.
@shawnmcandrew6923I wish there was a better method for finding the surface defects so they can be corrected before the new paint job shows them. Sanding the surface seems to make it more difficult to find them so that they can be filled or banged out
@jamesriley5057So that blow up paint booth is surely not going to work for me. Ill be using a 10X10 canopy tent with Polyethylene plastic. I dont need to cover the entire car as im only doing the hood. I will be using Primer, base coat, 2k clear coat of a 6X6 area that I fkd up badly from a rock chip that just got way out of hand. I have watched video after video after video and unfortunately all of you do things differently which is surely frustrating. I have a dewalt orbital sander that I have bought foam interface pads for. I have multiple grit 5 inch sandpapers from 400 up to 4000. I dont have any damage that I would need to fill. The tough challenge is going to be the blending that ill need to do. Thats kinda scary although every video ive seen the process from prime to base to clear to blend after 1st coat of clear many different processes. After all of the content ive watched ill sand down as far as needed to clear all of the mess ive created of the 6x6 area with the lowest grit I have which I believe is 320. If I need to go down to metal its no problem as I have full can of primer that I wont use all of. Outside of the 6x6 area and past the spray area 1500 grit to scratch around the area im painting. I imagine 2-3 coats primer the area. Sand with 600 till smooth. Tack rag then degreasing spray. Wait till dry. Base coat in the area of the 6x6 area with maybe a 2 inch border past the 6x6 area. Wait 15 mins. Tack rag, repeat, wait 15 mins tack rag repeat. Wait 15 mins. Then after 1st coat of 2k clear coat which goes on the area of base and a little of the 1500 gritted area not far maybe an inch or so the blending spray goes on right at the line the clear was sprayed to blend in the rest of the hood. Then wait 20 mins for 2nd coat, wait 20 mins 3rd coat. See what the results are. If anyone sees this comment that sees a flaw please say so. I saw the plate of your truck was PA, Im in Delaware.
@dupaacct5956How long to wait before buffing? Thank you.
@rayl3329So Iâm watching videos to prepare to be able to paint my own bike (2023 ktm rc390)
Iâm assuming this video will be the same for what I need?
Hi Buddy, how are you? ManâŚI need your help because my son (15) bought his first car (Mercedes cabriolet 1999) and I'm helping him spray paint the car and the result isn't looking good... sometimes I feel like getting rid of the car...
@PFrannnIf you wet sand your primer the base will lay better on a smooth surface and nursert last
@ASEWorldClassTechhey plsss could you help me with this. I am painting my bike parts with acrylic spray paint cans but the problem is when i spray rust oleum 2x clear coat on base paint , the base paint starts dripping, blistering all over and reacts with clear coat. First i thought the paint wasnât dry enough, then i redo everything and waited 24hrs after base coat but still after spraying
clear coat , everything is ruined again.
I have done pretty good graphics on my bike pls pls tell me what to do
How is the durability of rattle can paint versus conventional automotive paint?
@jeffbrassard1268Who said you can't paint your whole car with rattle cans??? đ I did it
@5starempire868NOT so easy with spray cans,! Spray gun better always! đĄ
@teedtad2534Worked on rear plastic bumper . Backed into something and flaked the top coat / enamel off . Just did sand it down to bare bumper smooth . I used etching primer even though I didn't know any better . Cleaned it . then used adhesion promoter . Next I primered it . Didn't sand it .. Some peopple saying I needed to .. IDK , Anyways I didn't and spray painted it with matching duplicolor and then used Rustoleum Ultra semi gloss 2X clear coat . It does look good But it didn't match the glossiness of the rest of the car .. Did I do something wrong and how can I make it look as glossy as the rest of car ? Maybe polish it or use full gloss clear coat spray ?
@frankmontez6853Can i buff with just hands without a machine?
@muhwezisimon6197So how many cans of primer and paint did you use?
@ScubaOzyou recommend sanding existing paint with 600 prior to base coat? 800 -1000 too fine? Using spray can and 2x clear
@JCGTV59So for the damage repair he finishes that off at 180, then 320, then 600 for primer for everything?
@davidfrankel9267Why donât you recommend painting the whole truck this way?
@HekutaaaThank you
@thed.i.yreader1841Not a painter, what is a mid coat vs base coat? Is that what is called multi stage paint on your website, and some colors don't have a mid coat? I don't see mid coats on the website.
@fredbarnes196I didn't think you where supposed to spray 2k anything without a fresh air system?
@penoe01How would you recommend painting a heavy metallic color. I was looking at Porsches Oak Green Metallic but, I'd assume that the metallic from a can is going to be difficult. I've heard of people spraying in a cross hatch pattern and then with a drop coat afterwards. Not exactly sure if that's what they do for every coat or spray different coats in different directions. Any ideas?
