Shut that fridge door 😂 you guys had me double checking mine
@Saint696AngerYou need to update this videos topic for the reality of 2026 buying and selling issues. I enjoyed the vid. I have been researching videos for hours today on the topic of selling your own silver, or trading for gold. none of last years selling parameters are relevant for 2026 due to the massively volatile market currently.
@Oxsbee59Do dealers file 1099b when customer sells just one coin?
@Michael-ud5ogi have a suggestion for you guys. at the end of the video instead of saying your address and phone number, hold up a sign with your contact information so people can screen shot it. (or add it graphically to the video) thanks
@Civ5forlife-td7hyI’m unable to sell my junk quarters and half dollars that are pre-1965 near me as they are telling me refineries are closed and back logged so they won’t buy these as they can’t melt it. So coin stores sell to refineries or are they just giving me the run around. They did offer my 1oz silver bars at $89 v spot of 107?!
@smei-v8zcrazy that silver is at 102 now!
@fityr3174 weeks after you made this video we're at 93
@keng528i think you indicated $66 an ounce silver in your video, Passed $93 yesterday.
@johnnyofast5924Can't you have a policy that says sellers with over $1,000 in sales will receive a check instead of cash?
@MikeTerry1969Thank you for an informative video and explanations of what and what not to do with precious metal prices spiking.
@fredbaker6315At least wait until after Jan 1st to see what happens after China makes its changes before unloading your silver
@AZDee1000What's funny is that these coin shops need paper currency. If there is a real crisis you won't be able to sell your silver or gold. And what the government's say is currency they will accept in all countries even Zimbabwe 😂😂😂😂😂
@christianjimbomb8204Great info, thank you.
@castlegreyskull123I've never been one to be upset if a LCS had limit on how much one could sell however when you're being offered 80% of the value of 999 and under spot for ASE I have a very hard time with it especially when I see the customer in front of me purchasing same material any two dollar 999 premium in a four dollar premium on ASE wild slaughtering anyone selling. Again I don't have a problem if they want to limit however they had no issue telling me those 3,000 Oz last year in eagerly waiting to buy it when the market was down. Integrity goes both ways I purchased over $50,000 worth of material at my LCS and I was offered 80% on a premium Scottsdale kilo bar to help offset one of my surgeries. Obviously I did not sell nor have I purchased anything from that shop again
@ericreen6168I guess buying and stacking is a Ponzi scheme. If you can’t sell it when you need to. My suggestion buy from a company like SD Bullion will buy your precious metals back.
@cryptohashman1495Dealers Only Paying $4-$6 Under Spot for your Generic Rounds.
@UduplrFound this very helpful.
@especialo_1Good, realistic comments and advice. There are coin companies here in the UK that will only buy stuff over the counter that you bought from them originally……..
@UKDark_MarkSelling now is foolish
@Tom-pi1czRaven you are so chill and natural on camera. I had no idea you owned a coin shop.
@buy_low_sell_chaiI’ve been beach metal detecting for nearly 15 years now. I believe most of the silver coins I have found are likely so beat up by the ocean there is probably no numismatic value what so ever, but I have always questioned whether rare date coins might still be worth more than melt.
A few months ago I found my first silver dollar in 15 years of detecting; an 1891 Morgan CC. I can tell it has been tossed around in the ocean, but the markings are remarkably clear. Today, the melt value is $52. In “good” condition, it goes for $214. I’ve got to think someone would be happy to pay $100 just to have one in their collection, but then I would need to find that special someone.
5:54 $500k? ! ! ! Hope you told her to sell less than $10k now.
@ra1der5I have uncirculated mint sets from 1948 to 1964 are they worth more than the silver value? Is there a premium for sets in Capital holders? Thanks for the video and I enjoyed your love of each other. Happy Holidays.
@davebeck4288Looking for slab and BU Walking liberties silver half dollars.
@markkatz6170Bad time to sell silver or gold, I collect I never stack silver because there are so many coins I want but if I can get a few here and there. I believe the Gin is out of the bag when it comes to silver. That actually hurts collectors.
@markkatz6170I have around $200,000 worth of silver and gold . Would like to sell and payoff my house . I don’t know how or who to sell it too. Just been buying since early 2000’s .
@johng187Times like these are ideal for someone who collects either Proof or Mint State Silver coins as MOST of the premium is eaten up by the higher bullion prices.
I can buy a roll of BU or Proof Silver Dimes for $11-$19 more than circulated ones.
Have Buyers in the morning…sellers in the afternoons?
@rebeccadirks5385Have you guys sent rebates to people who sold you their silver at $40 an ounce?
@saiandmiketravelGood show Raven you and Stephanie now work well together and now the camera guy adding his info is all helpful. I say hold onto silver and gold for now see how it ends at 2025 and where it starts 2026 ….
@GaryTX54Crazy times with silver and gold right now. Are you you guys buying silver? I have this, this, this and this, just kidding🤪 😁 Great video. Thanks for sharing
@jdoggwhitetrashGreat info for new and old customers alike. You read my mind with the new walkthrough too! Let's do it!
@Cool_Things_TXWhat are you guys paying for spot ? They are paying 70% here.
@vernsrocksstuff5989Love you guys, nice honesty and I wish I lived closer to come in and do some business! Thanks for info!
@davelynch66Thanks for another great video.
@EmileG2Great solid info for sellers. Nicely done
@mysilverjourneyAre the test kits off amazon reliable?
@GoldenSpikeCoinI guess folks should call first before coming into a shop. I know some shops are tiny in volume so folks should not expect that you all have a endless supply of cash to payout. I'm in NYC ,And Bullion Exchanges is the go to place for all of NYC. Folks come in &expect Ben to just give them cash. It exceeds a certain amount he gives them a check let's folks know the money is in account and Check will clear in one day. These are tough times we are living in. Everything is skyrocketing regardless of what the president is saying. Every time one shops prices seem to go up 20% higher. Electricity rising z the. They're insurance of all kinds , then rent. So I have not been on your coin auction in awhile Raven. Just Battling life's curve balls.. if it's not one thing it's another... Just trying to stay afloat.
@SteveLapointe9It's gotten out of control! Everyone wanted crazy high silver prices, then didn't realize they can't just dump it all at a massive profit b/c the dealers only have so much money. Even then, if they do buy it won't be at spot so you're not getting full value either! Not that you woul all of the time either, but definitely further back of spot now.
@VysterionI can only imagine the chaos ya'll are having to endure right now! Be safe.
@koryburleson7191It's funny that some people think every coin shop can handle millions of dollars of purchases every day. Most people buy their gold and silver one piece at a time so dumping tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars worth at once and having a long line of people doing that puts quite a strain on their funds. Thanks, Raven!
@TheQuickSilver101Hopefully I can find deals on Coins and not worry about how high Silver is they should honor the sticker price or I definitely won't bother with such dealers!
@andrewkolb6309I will see ya'll when spot price of Silver is +$150
@stoundingresults👍
@bsteinman8642I got into coin collecting with my granddad died. He had some coins I inherited, but unfortunately ripped off my my brother who had an alcohol problem, got them back the first time, but not the second .in the collection there was two Morgan dollars and two peace dollars and assorted Indian head pennies and Buffalo Nichols and a few mercury dimes so that’s how I got started collecting coins.
@SteveHendrix-bt6bcGotta watch The Laundromat.
It's a macro view documentary of our corrupt currency crisis...
