How to Rob a Bank | Official Trailer | Netflix

Video Overview & Insights

In this true-crime documentary, a charismatic rebel in 1990s Seattle pulls off an unprecedented string of bank robberies straight out of the movies.

Vollkommen doof.

About Netflix:

I would bet money that this movie will cause a surge in robberies or attempted robberies just what we need a movie that shows that kids that this is cool and streamable. Bad idea. The beginning explains that working a job isn’t worth it omg just a bad idea.

Really like the “cop” that has to exaggerate. His life is that boring… he’s getting paid. But “gotta make my life sound more like a movie.”

Christ…. Had to shoehorn “grunge” into the story.

Dumbest catch phrase…. That none of the Seattle bands even care for the word!!!

They tell us right away who was robbing the banks. Gee, how about telling us how they investigated it. I didn't need the tree house stuff. I stopped watching. I'll finish it when I have nothing else to do.

You pay the channels for bank outings and they are with the money hidden in graves and acting to put the gold out... They sell it to more expensive banks as are in India or Peru Bolivia and states that don't want certificates

The FBI agents are such clowns in this documentary. You catch them lying multiple times.

@AK47z

I'm 1000% sure that the police fired on them first. They were pissed off that they'd been dicked around and made fools of. Law enforcement wanted to make them pay.

Grew up in the Seattle area. Parents were customers of Seafirst. He even bought tires for one of his getaway cars at a Sears down the road from where I grew up. I remember seeing this on the news when I was a child. It was wild. That was the Thanksgiving before the huge ice storm that Christmas.

It's incredible how they glorify these criminals.

This is a made up story inspired by “break bad” series … really ???
Is that what people do these days… write scripts and make it look like a documentary ??

(spoilers!!)

Does anyone feel bad for the guy who owns the trailer/camp that Scott hid in? Like imagine having this really dangerous guy that you’ve heard about on the news, hiding inside your trailer/camper. Then a bunch of cops raid the trailer/camper, and start shooting and yelling through the camper, destroying parts of glass and the walls while they’re at it, and then you learn that the guy they were looking for killed himself inside of your camper.
I’d be pretty traumatized if that happened

The one guy who was shooting at Scott and his buddies after the bank robbery he is a egotistical thinking he's something a******. I hate cops. But this guy he's a work of art. They were so afraid of this guy they shot 71 times in a trailer and waiting for 3-4 hours before they would enter it. But then they talk about how brave they are they had over 200 people surrounding it. But he wants us to think that he's this hero.

@michaelmorris6406
@

this documentary is really good. its oddly tragic.

@MouseCIick
@

LMFAO. The FBI actually admit they were incompetent. The guy robs banks for FOUR years, steals millions and they are too obtuse to stop him. I would understand if he didn't just rob banks IN ONE CITY. There was another guy who robbed over 70 banks before they caught him, but he didn't just stay in one place, so made a little more sense. I wish I had a job where I didn't have to solve anything for 4 years. Agent 'Mom' brags about her incompetence, too. Very sad. But it's fantastic that the accomplices to the multiple ARMED robberies are not in prison, because you know, forgive and forget. Gun shoved in people's faces...eh no big. Love all the AI comments that simply reword the same comment.

All that hippie free-spirit BS, self-absorbed high school level writing and posturing, then turns out to be nothing more than a thief. The documentary interviews his old friends who say everyone loved him, but he comes across as a pretentious, childish egotist.
