My strategy for learning new words is to make crazy visual asociations about the word(or separate parts of it) and the meaning and to mix them into one crazy picture.

I have some tips on how to remember new words. I write two lines every new word and make three sentences with them in my note. It helps me to remember and write words right. Then, it is easier to use it in conversation

I’m learning medical terms and it’s really difficult to memorize them, because I have a coming exam. Sth i do is learning the root of the vocabularies. In this way, i can learn more words and at least, guess the meaning of vocabularies with similar roots.

Thanks for teaching us so well and your voice makes me to remember easily
Now - I have a question .
Why American used CAN instead of MAY
WHEN you are asking somebody to do something actually you are asking …let say ..for permission ..for understanding giving you a chance …etc…. Is better to-say: May I use your book for a day …
Instead - Can I ….use your umbrella
