When I read a book I only understand 40% of it
Because I sometimes I get bored on other parts and I instinctively not read others

WE are reading maxxing (yes WE)
@CharitheInquisitive_1My other problem is, IWhen I read, I tend to read words differently e.g. instead of reading Figure I end up reading it as Fatigue, how can I improve myself of such.
@EDGEHILLBBKEThanks
@EDGEHILLBBKEInstead of Audioable, Libby is a cheaper alternative and you'll be supporting you're local library by using your library card with it.
@WebDevYTLearningAccountI have tried bringing the book everywhere, but seems like I chose my phone instead of my book. 🥲 My longest time of consistently reading a book, is for 6 months then I don't know some how I couldn't continue with the habit and I need to start all over again.. helppppppp i want to start to read again..
@AmalynaAzizreally enjoyed your video, as my professor is showing us your video....im in that place and in college after not being in school for about 17-18 years but anyways thanks for your tips
@saraanzalone5052Actually, i love reading but you know when we start a book at first it's boring as fuck because i'm type of reader i don't read summaries or book context before reading and after like 100 pages or so i get into the book. and trust me those 100 pages take forever to complete. and i can only read romance well coz i'm interested but i want to read classics too!!!
@Kasak-y7hfinding this in 2026 where I want to become a reader because my dopamine is fried
@pugg3rI love reading😊
@HiramBoydI have actually written a book related to self help and published it on Amazon. I came up with something new. And if anyone is willing to test it and give me feedback about whether that method worked or not, I would include their name in the last page of the book.
I will open a 5 day promotion where you can get the ebook for free. So wouldn't cost.

@Job_D_AndreasWhile the tips are very good, 60 seconds seem too short. Maybe I'm a slow reader, or we talk about different page sizes, but I would say it takes 2-5 minutes, depending on size
@devilshole360What if my habit is scrolling?😂
@Realitycheck910He is talking abt how fked up and addictive the internet was 8 years ago. Well we know where we r at now
@fragron9649Good video, I actually don't really hate reading i just can't make myself start it, but when i begin it becomes easy.
@adnanoxoI pray to adapt reading habits
@alexanderphiri2856Love from India. I will definitely try out to do something this way pulled it off
@sarojbarik-82This doesn't apply to me. I have a book that doesn't start anything you need to remember multiple chapters in.
@Nate_5-6H6-9The comments give me the motivation I need paired with the video! Like if it’s the same for you.
@Travis-c2c7wInteresting
@jakefrosherThe ironic thing for me is I always say I'm not the biggest fan of reading even though I'm writing books😂
@Raggy-x5tI really hate reading but I read when we are going for exams
@DavisSemi-o8nI can’t remember if I’ve posted on this video before. For the past year or more, been looking for tips on how to get through books you hate as fast as books you love. I can read through urban fantasy and regular fantasy about a book a week if I’m not in school. If I’m in school and it’s a good psychology textbook, I can do the whole tome in a month and a half. Anything else and I flounder. Been trying to get through the Bible for 30 years and I’ve read bigger books in a month and a half, smh. I wanna find the solution😩
@remnant1018Third Tip: "Habit Bunching" comes from the book Atomic Habbits by James Clear.
@kamran060587The point about attitude change is very true. You have to identify yourself as someone who reads, then it will become easier. I did the same with working out, seeing myself as someone that loves working out back when I started as a slob. It did its thing. 15 years later I am still at it.
@henrybobaGood tips
@joshuamossman8500This should be an interesting video. It may also help me get back into reading. We all love to read, even those who claim to dislike it, once you find the types of books that interests you? You will have found the why.
Do what you love.
Time to listen, learn, put into practice (probably listen to this a few times), also the transcript has uses.
These are brilliant advises
@shahid8545I'm convinced 90% of people who say they've read a book haven't, the people they're talking to haven't read it so there's no way to be proven wrong.
"I read Generation Q over the weekend, great book."
"Oh yeah?"
It's a great way to appear smart.
Hearing people say they read a book every week just makes it so discouraging to even try. 🤣
@JustSomeCanadianGuysomebody has read “atomic habits” lol
@jackwagon9084Oh my god
Thank you 🙏
This should be trending.
@JérômeRey-g3sI like reading book but I don’t have physical book I have to ebook
@PrinceThapa-f2oLove the Skittles/fine wine analogy!
@zekechesterfield9994the problem with me is that im so drawn by scifi and space operas, but when its time to actually read the book it's not actually one book but 10 parts, +1000 pages each. which turns me the fuck away instantly
@handerly7992Really good realistic advice
@NicolaPayne-n1vI thought I hated reading, I can barely read for 2 minutes, then picked up a utilitarian book, it was good, I finished 200 pages in a day, never picked it up again, #ADHD
@Jay-v4t4tthank you
@BishopMax-w3r1oI love the idea of reading. Need love the idea of actually doing it
@matty4nattyIt's awesome
@loengmoeurt7853just open a book and fucking read it . its that simple.
