Being a dad now of a 2 year old this is a very real perspective from the previous time I saw this.

Once im being helper kinda like baby sitter in a house with entitled kids while the father is faraways for a job i know its hard to have entitled, spoiled kids andbits seems the mother dont want to change the kids behaviour

Minimal necessary force.
I remember hearing old timers say stuff like “This generation needs their asses beat. When I was a kid my, dad used to beat me with a 2x4”.
Then I wanna say “wait a minute, haven’t you gone to jail for domestic violence”.
They’d probably say “yeah but that’s unrelated”.
Then I’d say “was it?”.

I guess I get it but out of us 5 kids, the only sibling I always fought with has been my best friend in adulthood. Way closer than the rest though we're all close. People need to take things less seriously once they grow up and realize that kids will be kids. Their sibling was also a kid lol. Wild someone would hold a grudge.

The problem is government wants to get involved in raising kids - even in Australia, teaching drag queen story time is part of their curriculum. Government childrens services are not a desirable option if you want well behaved, responsible kids!!

Wish my stepmom had Jordan's method of parenting. This just proved to me she loved to bully me and flaunt her power over me. Fucking psycho

I tried setting my wife on the steps today when she was being moody and asked her a minute later if she was ready to have a good day! I don't remember what happened next but I woke up in a coma and its 2025 now.... Wierd.

You inherently know more than your kids. You know better than they do. It is okay and good to lie to them. You need some kind of control over them. Especially if you already know they're destined to be bad people if you don't.

I disagree with Jordan as far as he doesn't ever mention spanking I think spanking is very effective for little kids. And you don't have to do a lot or super hard or anything and you certainly don't need to show anger while you're doing it at all. Jordan talks about wrestling a kid but spanking is really great for getting them to stop wrestling. Wrestling is exhausting

I had a friend that would tell their kid fun or room - they could change their attitude and have fun with everyone or they could go to their room and then when they were ready to behave they could come back and everyone would cheer for them when they came back to be with everyone and have fun

We need to also stop letting society gaslight us into thinking that kids who have big imaginations and a lot of energy are weird or different. The zombie kids that follow orders like robots are the weird ones.

I am a lead teacher in toddler classroom. I work with 14 toddlers and there is 2-3 of us teachers.

How to raise kids who you like instead of raising children that are happy. This says everything about this Jordan Moral Wreck Peterson and his understanding of psychology.

It's amazing. I moved many places and many houses in my life, and when I look back, most of the problematic children in school and class have been for the most part fatherless. and not because of death, but because something in life made at least one or both parents decide that it's over to be together.

hope that all those kids grown to be looking up for a father figure like I do and found someone as amazing as this guy.

My thing was, "You have the choice to step over...and if you don't choose to, I have to help you with your body and take you there."

I love this because NOT disciplining children, consistently and safely, is a devastating form of NEGLECT of them. They become unable to function...seriously. I worked for many years with ED and SED children, and THIS was the primary problem they were literally injured by. YES...strong boundaries without shaming, violence or harm. Thank you, Jordan.
