Just acquired this one, and itās a wonderful design. Clean. Both player counts are not only functional but fun, and this uses the form factor to the best of its ability for a set collection game that combines timing elements that add deceptive depth to the gameplay for repeat visits. I think this is among Button Shy offerings in some time, and I particularly love the fact that the game will grow its own meta because the cards are labeled clearly to indicate what the principal scoring condition is on one side while also offering a transparent view of what might be otherwise opaque or left to memory on the other so you can strategically pass. Superb.

simple, elegant and fun - every beach house should have a copy of this game for their VRBO-ers and AirBnB-ers to play (I might hit up beach gift shop owners) - and it is so small it will be stored in our beach luggage, so it is there whenever we go

First game: Thought I had it, but the A.I. smoked me! 50 - 40. On normal mode.
Once I got my head wrapped around how it essentially is getting 3 actions to my one and is scoring on 2 of those 3 actions, does indeed create a challenge.
Question: you solo play portion of the video has you dealing out 5 cards for both Low and High Tides. The rule book says 4. Was that a rules change?
Thanks! I do like this game and think it will be my second favorite, of my Button shy Games. I bet you could guess what my first will be, when it finally arrives!
My only wish for these games, would be a wallet, that was designed like an eyeglass case, where you slip the deck in at the end, still the same shape, and thick enough to hold sleeved cards and their expansions. That or do what I said, but then just have unlabeled wallet pouches, for the expansions.

Hey, I brought the print and play version but can't seem to find the expansion to buy/download - has it been released yet?

Does A.I. do nothing during High tide, if it canāt score? Will it still remove a card if it does nothing?
Will it ever try to score on low tide, if it can or will it always wait for high tide?
Looks like Iām out of luck, for a while. Michelle from Button Shy said that any reprints of Tides is not on to do list, in the near future or as a piggy back on a Kickstarter.

@SecondStartotheLeftAlso the rules say the AI can score multiple sets in a turn, one at a time. So at 10:25 the AI could have scored 4 more points (3 driftwood/2 glass). Correct?
@ScottGleasonSMSThe rules for solo play say to deal 4 cards instead of 5, but you played by dealing 5. Could you confirm the rule please?
