I golfed my first ever game today and am sad I didn’t watch this first!! I only lost 3 balls, two to the forest and one to the water!! But did have a birdie which was the highlight of my day!!

Wait I was told to swing the club straight, may be not so straight but was asked not to swing it in arch. So what exactly is correct? As its very natural as per the body stance and action to swing it in arch but am learning to swing it stright now. And after this video am confused.

@Martin-f2z5mI never played golf before, but I found an interest in wanting to learn the game and play. I love being outdoors on a warm sunny day, and playing golf seems like a good reason to get out. I have 2 questions. Do golf courses give lessons to beginners? Another question is why does it seem like golf is a game for the rich and middle class? I grew up in a poor family and had neighbors who were no better off than us, but I never met a poor person who played golf. Maybe it's the cost of playing that is an issue. To me it always seems like a game for the rich like Donald Trump and Snoop Dogg.

@YellLinn-t5vI took my girl out this weekend to the driving range and I got her hitting constantly within 20 minutes,best thing to do is tell the person just relax,let your mind go,dont think about the swing so much and take a swing,she got it down pretty quickly,her best shot was 85 yards

@theglobalfreelancersnetwor4956love this! i golfed when i was a kid and some as an adult, but I've never really taken the time to find proper techniques. i usually just go up to the ball, hit it and hope it goes straight. when placing your hands on the club, should your left palm be at the very tip of the club? or should there be some gap between the club and your palm? Also, when i do the hinge and bent knees, my lower back starts to hurt immediately... am I doing something wrong? are my clubs too short?
