Scientific references supporting the fact that early learning in reading and math boosts children’s intelligence, cognitive development, memory, attention, concentration, and, of course, their genius potential:

[1] .Dr. Cunningham, A. E., & Dr. Stanovich, K. E., What Reading Does for the Mind.
[This research indicates that early reading makes children exceptionally smart and unlocks their genius potential, because the brain’s plasticity is at its peak during this period. This heightened plasticity allows for stronger and more numerous brain synapse connections. Their Research reveals that early reading significantly enhances vocabulary, comprehension, memory recall, and cognitive skills. Also according to their findings, early reading provides not only academic advantages but also lifelong intellectual benefits]

[2]. The National Reading Panel (NRP). Teaching Children to Read: An Evidence-Based Assessment of the Scientific Research Literature on Reading and Its Implications for Reading Instruction.
[This report concludes that systematic phonics instruction effectively improves children’s reading skills, including decoding, vocabulary, spelling, and comprehension. These skills form a cognitive foundation that supports lifelong academic and intellectual growth]

[3]. University of Cambridge. Early Childhood Reading and Brain Development (2023).
[This study found that reading for pleasure in early childhood is associated with improvements in brain structure, vocabulary, memory, and academic performance. Early readers also displayed lower risks of mental health and behavioral issues during adolescence]

[4]. Protzko, Aronson, & Blair. Effects of Early Reading on IQ.
[This research shows that early reading can raise a child’s IQ by more than six points. Enhanced verbal intelligence and performance on IQ tests were observed in children who started reading early, even when controlling for genetic and environmental factors]

[5]. Cerebral Cortex Journal. Longitudinal Study on Reading and Attention (2022).
[This study indicates that better reading performance in children predicts improved attention over time. It mentions that learning to read is not only a developmental milestone but also an important way to optimize attention and brain development. The study concluded that regular reading habits enhance focus, concentration, and cognitive function, contributing to lifelong intellectual growth.]

[6]. University of Maryland. The Cognitive Benefits of Early Math Education.
[Early math education strengthens cognitive functions such as problem-solving, logical reasoning, and critical thinking. Early exposure to math concepts enhances children’s ability to analyze, evaluate, and make connections, supporting future academic performance and intellectual growth]

[7]. Frontiers in Psychology. Brain Development and Early Math Learning.
[MRI studies reveal that early math learning positively impacts neural connectivity and brain plasticity, especially in regions associated with memory, attention, and spatial awareness. This suggests that early math education enhances overall brain development, supporting learning in other areas. Early math learning also boosts the brain’s capacity for faster and more complex information processing]

My toddler is 3.5 years old and can read a lot of words. When stuck, I say “sound the letters” and most of the time she gets the word correct. She’s now reading Bob Books and loving the process.

*My program helps you "quickly," "easily," and "effectively" teach your 2 to 8 year old child to read and decode ALL words and sentences (instead of just memorizing some word shapes) and become SUPER smart and a fast and fluent reader.*

The toddlers can read courses are the best. I am using them already. You can do it too with your child. It feels so good to teach your children. English is my second language and I can still do this work because of these courses. He tells you exactly what to do and give you a lots of examples. When I see someone working hard I think it is time to tell others, to pass the news.

— @AntóniaMarquesValentim

*Your child will be reading to learn, while other children are still learning to read*

(How To Teach A Child To Read☛Children Learning Reading☛Smart, Genius Babies, Toddlers, Kids)

I notice the kids are sounding out the words. It really is the best way to start learning. I have to stop my kid from guessing because that is how he is taught at school and for a long time, refused to sound anything out, because it isn't done that way at school.

— @ValerieMorris-s5v

For parents asking why they should teach their child to read:

*1. Learning to read early makes your child smarter and unlocks their genius potential! This effect is documented in various research studies, including What Reading Does for the Mind. In this study, Dr. Cunningham and Dr. Stanovich show that early reading not only enhances cognitive abilities but also significantly boosts children’s intelligence, giving them a powerful advantage for lifelong success—because brain plasticity is at its peak during this period*

This is so helpful! Thank u. This is the only video at the moment that I have had the pleasure of watching so idk if u have done this already or not. I would like to see how u would work with ur child when she doesn't already know the answers or is getting them wrong.

— @tawsifahmed4561

*2. The Matthew Effect in reading (The Rich Get Richer and the Poor Get Poorer):* Early success in reading leads to increased success later on. Conversely, children who are poor readers often have difficulty catching up

3. Research from Harvard University indicates that *the more a child reads, the more neural activity and strengthened pathways develop in their brain, enhancing cognitive development and boosting memory recall*

I just want to say Thank you soooo much my daughter is now 5 in kindergarten we started with you 4 years ago I kept her home and used all of your items she learned so fast and she is was school ready. I eneded up sending her to preK just for social. The teachers were so impressed and asked me what I did. I let them know about you and your tools. I now share this video and encourage other parents to use your learning techniques. She is doing super well in Kindergarten. You are such a Blessing and thank you for sharing your knowledge. ❤️

— @RebaDas-eq5pr

4. Reading helps keep your child safe by helping them read and understand important warning signs like Poison, Stop, and Danger

5. Reading acts as an exercise to improve a child's reading fluency, comprehension and verbal intelligence

Or will you be the proud parent of a confident, smart child who has learned to read and developed superior reading and literacy skills that will benefit them for a lifetime?*

I am so incredibly glad I found this channel! My 3-year-old can name all the letters, but I've been unsure where to go from here. This is a wonderful next step! Thank you so much!!!

How do you maintain all these educations items far away from the kids? Every time I buy something (expensive) educational item. I try to keep it far away and he some how gets his hands on it and all the pieces have been lost scattered. I've bought the same education cards, glue, colors, markers multiple times because my sons lose all the parts and destroy. It makes me feel like I can't maintain anything for homeschool in my home, so he might as well go to school.

If only someone had told me that raising a genius starts with reading practice at age two. Meanwhile at that age I was probably busy trying to eat crayons and negotiate with cookies. 😄

Jokes aside this topic is really interesting because the way kids are introduced to reading early can shape how they think and learn for the rest of their lives.

how to make my baby a genius

Honestly, i can barely get past the cuteness to pay proper attention. But, really, associating sounds to the letters, is the best thing. My son went to a serious kindergarten and they had these flash cards on a ring and we had to introduce our children all the sounds the letters made… even letter combos like ‘sh’ or ‘ea’ for eg. It was a good program. I also sent my son to the best private school for preschool in our state. After first grade he attended regular, low expectancy, public school. And excelled. Then he went to a party college, joined a frat, became an alcoholic and has been living the dream of the 80’s while working at his dad’s restaurant. I’ve been pressuring him to take it over, in terms of running it. And now that he is about to turn 25, he is doing it. And he doesn’t drink like an alcoholic any more… but, I still worry. And he is self teaching. There is hope for public school attendees. But, it depends on involvement by the parents to work with their kids to help them learn.
