I’m doing this for a diet plan I made and following I’m doing a chicken breast broccoli carrots and mashed potatoes (water boiled) I wanted to ask and please answer genuinely if you know (cause this will be my same meal for every lunch in every day) is this healthy to do it everyday on the air frier? — @Raad-hm

In a small bowl, combine salt, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, paprika, and cayenne pepper.

Spritz chicken with oil and rub to coat. Season both sides of chicken with the seasoning.

Did you use thee air fry setting? Thanj you!

— @mickeyfoeller771

Place chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer, no overlapping. Cook at 380°F/193°C

for about 8-10 minutes, turning halfway, until cooked through and instant read thermometer inserted into center of thickest part reads 155°F/68.3°C.

I’ve had an air fryer for a while, but I’m kinda intimidated by it. It’s just a weird thing to me and I’ve pretty much used it once since getting it as a gift last Christmas. Tried this and it turned out AMAZING! Definitely making air fried chicken regularly from here on!

— @burritobear4954

Let chicken rest for 5-10 minutes to finish cooking, then slice and serve.

PRINT the recipe:

380 for 8-10 in, flip halfway

0:44 Hack #1

I'm new to air fryer cooking technology as well and bought the Cosori. This looks pretty easy and I'm thinking with bone-in breasts the cooking time might be a little less? I like the foil wrap idea at 155, you can always add cook time but not take it away after the fact.

1:19 Season Air Fryer Chicken Breasts

Hi sweetheart, I need your help. I just bought the Cosori Air Fryer 5qt (4.7L) from Amazon. The instructions for cooking (setting) chicken suggest 380°F for 20 minutes. However, I'm concerned that cooking chicken breast for that long will result in dry, chewy meat. Could you please suggest how to cook chicken breast (whole, cubed, strips, etc.) in this air fryer? I'd also appreciate it if you could explain why the settings recommend cooking chicken for 20 minutes. I would appreciate any valuable advice you give. Thank you.

I love your videos. I’m going to try this recipe today in my air fryer. I have a question… What does it mean when your air fryer basket starts to look like it’s getting Rusty? I wondered if I am washing it too much even though I don’t use any kind of Brillo pad

200 celsius is 400 F. Most air fryers go up to 400 except the original Nuwave. It only goes to 350 F.

Could have been Cathy; I never asked, but there is a resemblance.

Great video. I just bought an air fryer and I can’t believe that I’ve been missing out all these years. This is truly a revolutionary kitchen device

@leelee3995

2:49 Wrong. The safe internal temp is dependent on time. Chicken only needs to be 160 for 15 seconds to be safe, don't bring it all the way to 165. By the time you get there, that 15 seconds has come and gone. If you are slow cooking (smoking/etc) you can get away with much less, I usually take chicken breast out of the smoker at 150, because if I bring it all the way to 165, it is certainly overcooked. Carry over cooking like what you are talking about does happen, but not 10 degrees. The result is about the same though, covering it keeps it at a high temp longer meaning it does NOT reach 165, but it IS safe to eat.

Taking the chicken out 10 degrees before its reached its temperature is extremely risky.

You said that in order to cook evenly, you pat the chicken down.
What I do is cut slits about 1/2 way trough the chicken from top to bottom. Cooks perfectly even throughout šŸ‘

I've had my air fryer for four years, other then frozen fries, and chicken bites, I have not used it until our BBQ broke. I cooked the steak in the air fryer that night, it was great! Next I tried a Turkey tenderloin, great. Last night stuffed bell peppersšŸ‘. Tomorrow night, chicken breast. Question to self, why has it taken so long to start really cook with the air fryer! Just glad I started.
