Carne Asada Recipe (List of ingredients)
I’ve been making this marinade for years and it’s always amazing!
Using for fire: Red oak wood
Temp: Really hot grill
It looks yummy! Ty for sharing! Oh, your garden looking great!
Medium-well: 150F Degrees
(6-8 min per side)
I don't have a grill but actually I made this today only thing is there was a couple of ingredients that you added to your your mojo that I didn't add to mine and like I said I didn't have the grill but it was still delicious and if you the leftover marinade if you boil it for 30 seconds you can use it as a marinade as a as a salsa
Meat
Fajita selecta (FLAP MEAT) 2 lbs
I never heard of Carne salad marinated like this if anybody really wants to know how to cook out in the salad let me know, bro guarantee you this is not Carne Asada marinade
Note: Use cut of your choice.
Suggestions: Skirt steak and Flank steak
Riquísima receta simple y rápida de hacer muchas gracias por compartir 😊
Marinade
Olive oil 1/3 cup
You should clean the grill. Just soak it in a large container overnight and then scrub it off.
Soy sauce 1/4 cup
Balsamic vinegar 2 TBSP
6 to 8 minutes per side sounds incredibly WAAAAAAY TO LONG. That's 12 to 16 minutes total. I could by 1 inch steaks for like 3-5 minutes per side. That is not right. ... in fact I'm not sure i can trust any of the recipes. But I Def think 6-8 minutes per side is waaaaaay to looooooong.... seriously pretty sure that's crazy.... they are so thin.
Orange 1 ea (1/4 cup)
Limes 2 ea (1/3 cup)
What a tender juicy meat 🥓😋
Chipotle powder 1 1/2 tsp
Note: You can also use: Paprika
Why can I marinade chicken overnight in citrus but not steak like in your pollo loco recipe? By the way the pollo loco recipe is delicious.
Cumin 1 tsp
Oregano, dried 1 tsp
Oh my goodness
Onion, powder 1 tsp
Garlic, cloves (grated) 4 ea
Looks wonderful
Cilantro, chopped 1/2 cup

@RolandWhitaker-t3tSo how long you marinade your beef, you did mention not to long because of the lime juice and orange juice whic very few people do they say overnight which will cook your steak
@acaciomadeira5147Soy sauce? Balsamic vinegar? naaaaaaaaah, not authentic at all

@elgatogordo9523Great recipe! But why not use corn tortillas? The flavors are better I believe with corn tortillas.
@JusticeMy64Very delicious recipe, I just have to exclude the avocado, I'm allergic. But everything else is so spot on delicious!
@JusticeMy64You should mark at The Onion on a stick
@tonyrunyon375No salt or black, ground pepper?
@vergeniavillanuevaI know this video is 4 years old, but I had to tell you that I'm impressed with the way you grilled your carne asada outside! I'll give your marinade a go this summer on my old Weber grills.
@MultidimensionalMichaelShe was burning up on the thumbnail 😅
@DóndeEstáAlejandroTried this recipe exactly as written. while I couldn't get the fajita selecta flap meat. I did use (inside) skirt steak as was also noted as a n option. It was awesome. Definitely a keeper. thank you
@randyjones3797I tried this today. I like it but needs I needed to salt the meat. Also the oil caused a lot of flames on the grill.
