I am French, and yet you have managed to make me look at my own culture differently. Your perspective is very poetic and all the more meaningful because, as an American, you are discovering another culture. As French people, we are often not sufficiently aware of the particularities of this way of life, as it is deeply ingrained in us.

realy nice video! yeah we realy need french way of life in ours. I believe that this is why the French are cultured, because they take the time to reflect, to pause, to appreciate... accumulating money is not the priority in France... living is the priority. As the French often say, they do not live to work, they work to live, and that is the difference....What is very revealing is that French productivity per hour worked is much better than in most countries, because when they work, they do so efficiently, they are well rested, they focus on the essentials and do their best... thx a lot !

I really enjoyed the video and learning how the French live. In particular I would like to see people dress nicer in my city. I live in Vancouver, Canada and I often sit in public places and people watch. Most people here dress so casually it verges on sloppy. If someone does where something nice and with some thought to style it stands out.

Hello! I would really like to help you voluntarily dub your videos in romanian if possible. I have many acquaintances that would love to reach such mindful ways of living life, but encounter obstacles regarding language. I am a beginner in this field, but it's in my interest to gain experience. If you do agree, please send me an email so we can further discuss details or special demands.

then how come the farmer's markets are forced to close in many developing countries, even those within europe;
the agriculture (the backbone economy of these countries) being annihilated by big global corporations that charge in offensive for land and water resource takeover, of those countries, that swing left and right for a little political support, and end up prostituting the interests of the superpowers.
Where is the beautiful fragrant farmer's market of my city - replaced by an artificial one, the idea of the dandy pm, whose tie-strings are being moved by the international big bosses in every step of his politics within our country

This seems lovely but also American so grocery stores that have the actual necessities are at least a 20 minute drive for us. We farm so we have our own eggs, beef and garden plus neighbors to buy from. It's actually more environmentally friendly to shop less often here so we buy a lot of frozen fruit and veggies or a bushel of apples at a time.

I came for Love, I Stayed for FRANCE:
I've been living French-inspired for years. My ancestry is French. I've been to Paris many times and France in general as well as Europe. My heart is in France, and I can no longer live here in the States due to the political climate and just the fact that I am bored living here. Your videos are an inspiration and I have been in the planning mode of relocating to France when I retire in 3 years hopefully sooner considering the south of France Nice in particular I've been there once planned to come back next year!❤

@ludovic7439You hit the nail on the head. I don’t live in France, but after numerous trips there, my mind almost always is, and I certainly go about my daily life as if I were there; walking almost everywhere, hitting the local food and artisans’ market, and sitting at an outdoor café with a glass of wine, watching and listening to all that goes on around me. It’s good practice for my next trip to Paris, which can’t come soon enough. I look forward to more of your vids and will check out your earlier ones. 🍷
