My top pick, and my plans to move, involve moving to Tirana, Albania for the long haul, including retiring. December 2028. I have to finish my Masters in psych, get licensed, then work 6 months to be qualified to work as a remote therapist, and teach at Tirana University. I eventually want to find partners to help me open a holistic mental health clinic catering mostly to expats. I considered Vietnam, Thailand (good medical), and Malaysia. But Albania feels right in my soul, if you know what I mean. Thanks for your informative videos!

have a good, solid international medical plan. i have been expat for over 17rys. do NOT live in a country without one. If you want the naive route of "oh, medical care is so, so cheap here i will pay it out of pocket". OK. you might be sorry:

Say a serious accident. Say unconscious. many nations UNLESS they see an insurance card you go to the closest government hospital then when (if) you recover you have PAY them and get transferred to a private hosptial.

Say they send you to a private hospital or you have serious illness: they want MONEY up front. No money. there is the door and/or transport to a government hosptial.

A friend of mine lives in Thailand. Visits Singapore. chest pains and ER. tests and needs stents (singapore MUCH more expensive than Thailand). his doctor in the US said better to get where you are at and not fly. OK, then what IF you policy only covers you in your residential country? have a policy that covers worldwide. (CIGNA, AXA, IMG, Allianz, ect).

5 nights hosptial, one in ICU stents, doctors: $23,000. you want to "pay that out of pocket" or your insurance 100% pays and your hospital is kissing your butt hence they see the top policy you have.

anyways: i have CIGNA Global. choose a good one. NOT one for $50 a month with a $10,000 deductible to fool and kid yourself.
have a good, solid international medical plan.

Where To Move if Kamala Harris Wins

https://youtu.be/X1vC_RkJ4NA

It's March 2026 now, and Trump has destroyed everything. I'm worried about my social security. I would love to move to Europe, but my wife is from East Java Indonesia Batu. So if we leave the USA it will most likely be Indonesia. She's 50 this year, I'm 64 and we have a 16 year old son. I'm on meds for blood pressure and a few other things. I'm not sure how we will be able to make a living. I do get $1600. A month in social security. We do have a house (200k we can get) and cars we can sell. But can we survive on that long term? Her family are all working for themselves but struggling.

I’m an American living in Mexico for 5 years. I went to Amsterdam and Paris last year at this time and I’ve been to Paris many times and absolutely love it. I have a permanent residency here in Mexico. I think I’d like to move around a little maybe 6 months here and 6 months in Paris. I am retired.

Well host you're really gonna have to take a look at how the countries are now not the way they were when you were there 15 years ago or 10 years ago or 5 years ago Since 1972For 2 months or 3 months what's my dear wife and another month you are often with me alone so we know that and I also speak Thai I can't say a lot of those other countries but I see what they're reading now they're changing the documents from people who want to go to the This countries like Portugal Spain and Thailand and have changed and changes that you need to have much higher Medical Medical care much higher than the stuff that you have now And the changeling laws if you come into a Thailand and you take your money with you they're gonna text it again for you for for you and all the time they keep changing changing changing the rules I don't know that that's going to work out but that's going to work out that the Americans gonna go out and back home again and have to live on that with you with the Looking over You having a big fat migrant to come here to manual labor and that's too much for you and the people that would destroy your medical and your housing and all kinds of stuff like that you think oh that's okay no it's not okay that people are out there saying get rid of the Stop Go home And I really would not be looking for it bunch of Americans taking away cheap condos and stuff like that and a cheap cheap medicine stuff like that you get to stuff for free you get free education you get free free free free free free free oh yes we're gonna come here from America So you can see what they have here

@mikecarmichael5743
@

A lot of the company countries are already starting that also Thailand also kombucha also porma also Indonesia and you say oh we keep you some good information for 10 years ago or 15 years ago I've been going to Thailand's in 1972 every year with my dear wife Every year And I would also sometimes go alone for another month so I know how that is and the things in Thailand I'm not looking good for all the westerners they're changing a lot of the rules if you're over 60 they're gonna want all kinds of extra Medical stuff you know The stuff you got something.
They don't want the poor people having to pay for the Americans health they can't do that but you're American say oh I can get a real cheap they don't care if they if they And all the others die because they take Americans no no no they're gonna be taking them On your incoming you got paid for in the west they're gonna text again when you get to Thailand for example I know Thailand because I've been there very often every year and I speak Thai so You're gonna really have to look for documentation because there are old-fashioned there is no longer the case That is no longer the case

@mikecarmichael5743
@

You've been all over the place for long long time however what's happening now is a lot of Americans saying you wanna get out of America how many almost half of them see that you'll see all the companies all the countries are close to America they're just getting over run by American just now they're going to keep going more and more and more the migrants and nothing hundred and 50,000,000 Americans went out of America so better off but the people the country were they moved to the people are not better off cause the Americans take the cheap stuff away they raise the prices and the people who live there are going to be in poverty and they're going to keep the Americans out that's the Mexico for beans Indonesia Portugal Spain Number of people You can't get 150,000,000 people They are going to destroy whatever they land like locusts

@mikecarmichael5743
@

There are so many Americans leaving America to avoid Trump Policies. So much so that over here in the UK this increasing number of people leaving to avoid Trump even has its own name. They have become know as "Donald Duckers".

Good helpful advice- will more than likely come back to this to refresh. My reasons are clear it’s just the means can be a complicated matter. Here’s hoping I can get this done in a year because that’s the goal. The US is a tumultuous setting right now and I wanna leave ASAP.

I’m retiring in 2028 and my plan is to leave for a better life. Costs are bad and getting worse. I want to find a place that’s peaceful and affordable. I imagine that this is what it was like at the end of the Roman Empire. Exit migration.
