In this video, I want to talk about how to fix HPA axis dysfunction & dysregulation. We will look at all the important players like your nervous system, adrenal glands and hormones and what you need to do to bring them back into balance. As you will see, this isn't just about cutting out stress—it involves a deeper understanding of your body's systems, especially the hormones and glands responsible for handling stress.

Danke!❤

This has recently started happening to me I believe. It feels as if I’m spectating my life through myself. Like what I’m seeing and hearing isn’t real. I catch myself zoned out while my daughter is talking to me, I find it hard to keep track of anything, I don’t feel like myself. It’s nerve racking, and hopefully it fixes by itself.

Supplemental gaba does not cross the blood brain unless you are taking an anticonvulsant like Gabapentin.

Im in chronic pain now( fibromyalgia diagnosis) especially for the last 5 months and with particularly bad neuropathy from years of repeated, prolonged stress. Ive been flooded with cortisol so many times Ithink I have little left and that's the only reason I'm not still in high anxiety mode. Instead, I have chronic fatigue, pain and depression. Where do I even start to heal? I am taking Magnesium L threonate, Benfotiamine, sublingual methylcobalamine and D3& k2 in high doses for 3 months along with nutritional yeast for other B vitamins. I've added Himalayan salt each morning for past 2 weeks. I eat a low carb diet with lots of eggs and salmon and arugula/broccoli for folates, sauerkraut for vitamin C and probiotics, also kefir. Nothing has made any difference, even intermittent fasting of 18/6 most days. I try to walk every day but the fatigue and pain are making it more and more difficult. I dont sleep well either. Constant waking in pain or need to urinate even though I dont drink or eat near bedtime.

I generally find your videos useful and interesting and would consider adding your channel to my go-to list of health YouTube, if you shared the sources/studies to back up your points. 'Detox' is such a strong buzzword that it really makes the whole video less credible. Is there a science behind it? Are we really full of 'toxins' that we need to detox? What is our liver doing then?

Please back up your points with research/studies

How long does this take to heal? I just found out I have low cortisol which is why I can’t function without adderall. I got on it several months ago because of exhaustion and inability to focus, but sounds like I will have to get off it to heal. How long does it take to heal? I’m afraid I could get fired from work if I am too exhausted and can’t focus. I sort of feel stuck.

I was told I have MDD but am thinking this is actually my problem. I can’t sleep on my own nap and I never feel full when eating and I have constant fatigue, no matter what I do

I know that GABA supplement doesn’t cross the blood brain barrier so it’s useless to supplement with it

When my flight or flight is activated I go into rubber mode, nothing works right. Punching is like I have 5kg lumps on my arms. Never had an answer on this.
I sweat like a fountain when I'm stressed, it can be instant.

Excellent explanation Felix. And some great recommendations / treatment tools. It's probably a far more common issue these days than many realise...including, some doctors...even if they may well have had some (very basic!) training about this during their education.

Sunlight does wonders. I dont use light through windows, they block some of the needed frequencys of light.

People with adrenal related problems often have the so called ADRENAL RUSH, when to a small stress your body responses with the maximum amount of adrenaline, like you're dealing with an extreme stress situation. Could you suggest something to prevent that reaction or to ease it? From whay you said it's worth to try GABA, but the amount of adrenaline at those moments it too high
