Great video as always! I’d love to see a future segment on 'Accuracy in Financial Deadlines.' I’m a member and noticed a technical glitch where the Chime $300 reward link marked itself as 'Expired' early today (March 31) despite the 11:59 PM deadline in the terms. Since Finder is all about helping users make better financial decisions, a video explaining how your team ensures tracking links stay live until the final minute—or how users can verify their 'click-through' during a site glitch—would be incredibly valuable for the community! I’ve emailed the rewards team with screenshots to help them fix the bug, but I think a 'behind the scenes' look at how you maintain these partner promos would be a hit.

Turbo Tax online is Garbage. This takes you back 30 years and it's very hard to navigate when you want to go back to edit someone and if you want to delete sometime forget about it. They want to fill out your taxes for you so they are making it hard.

If I had intuit turbo tax filed in the past, few years ago, can I just log into account or do I have to buy the turbo tax disc set again?
And what about log in info if I forgot it? Will I be able to retrieve or make new account with my new phone number and address?

En qué renglón se anotan las millas recorridas?
Hey y’all, Jenn here from finder.com.
Today, we're talking about one of the only sure things in life: taxes. As April 15th nears and W-2s start rolling in, it's time to file your federal — and in some cases, state — taxes.
Thank you so much for explaining how to file my taxes with turbo tax. You're awesome:)))
We'll be showing you how to file your taxes online with Intuit TurboTax — it’s friendly to first-time filers, and can be fairly inexpensive.
STEP 1: Gather your paperwork.
Thanks! Very helpful!
Before you hop onto the TurboTax website, collect a few documents that you'll need once you get started. Typically this includes:
-Your Social Security number and the numbers of anyone else on your return
As a 23 year old I am glad that this video exists to help me learn how to file my taxes online
-A government-issued ID, like a driver's license
-Your W-2 or 1099
How do I know how much I will get refunded when filling with husband ? Is any session that shows how much each person will get ?
-Any earned interest on private investment accounts
-Your form 1095 and any medical bills
I’m sharing this with my 34 year old granddaughter and drinking beer with her. I love being old.
-Mortgage interest and property taxes
-Education expenses
Thank you very much!
-Small business expenses
-Retirement contributions
Can i get it sent to my cash app card? Good video
-Charitable donation receipts
STEP 2: Create an account.
This was excellent. Thank you so much!
Before you can start your return, you need to make an account. Simply fill out the form with your email address and choose a user ID and password — make sure it's a strong one, too, given how sensitive the info is.
STEP 3: Check your info and filing status.
Is it free
Add your name, date of birth and ZIP code to start. You'll then add information about your filing status — including whether you’re married.
From there, select any of the situations that apply to you from the past year. It then asks for more details about your previous year's finances, like whether you took on medical debt, traded crypto currency or received dividends.
But can we get free quote on turbo tax cuz sum people say its depends where u go to do ur tax sum might return more money back so that’s my question
Continue on by entering even more personal information, such as your Social Security number and what states you lived and worked in.
STEP 4: Enter federal tax info.
Will TurboTax Online 2025 put the questionnaires on my computer screen for me to fill out? Is the Online TurboTax the same as the software version but does not have software on my computer? What files will I be able to retain on my computer if it is a desktop with Windows 10 as the operating system? Explain how online TurboTax handles the imported data from Vanguard?
Next up is diving into the nitty gritty of your federal taxes. TurboTax takes you through the process one step at a time, and lets you save your place and come back to it anytime — perfect for if you need a quick break.
Your W-2, 1099, 1095 and charitable donation receipts come into play in this section. Some documents can be uploaded and auto filled, or you can type in the information yourself.
i’m 25 and this really helped me! being an adult can be so hard without help for these little unnoticed but important big things!
Once you go through each section, TurboTax will prompt you to fill in anything that you may have missed and review your progress as you go.
If any of the states you lived in the previous year have state taxes that need to be covered, you'll head to the next step. Otherwise you can skip to step six.
me looking at this as a mem coin trencher
STEP 5: Enter state tax info.
State taxes are a lot less intense than federal. In fact, the software will import the information from your federal taxes and process the state taxes with very little additional input from you. A few clicks and you're all set.
I sure do love being an ADULT who has to file taxes!!!
STEP 6: Choose your refund method.
You're almost ready to file at this point. It's time to select what refund method you want to use. Depending on when you file, you may even be able to apply for an advance on your return.
Thank you. As an adult man struggling to pay my bills every month, I appreciate the quality and craft of this video. Sometimes, I forget exactly how to file said taxes. Insurance, the government, inflation, stocks, money, gas prices. Everything makes every day harder for me and my family of 8. I deeply care about the economy and my wallet. TurboTax tutorial has saved my marriage, my kids, and my life.
Your choices are the following:
-Direct deposit into your bank account, this usually takes the least time
I am very thankful for the knowledge on how to file taxes as a responsible adult over the age of 40.
-Prepaid TurboTax debit card
-Paper check in the mail
Such a vibe.
-Apply the refund to next year's taxes
-US savings bonds
As a 26 year old, i found this video very useful, because i'm undergoing early onset dementia, and i forgot how to file my taxes online. But videos like these, they help make my life easier. Thank you.
STEP 7: Review and file your taxes.
Once you select your preferred delivery method and filled out any necessary info to accompany it — like bank account information for direct deposit — it's time to file.
As a new legal adult over the age of 18 this video has helped me and I know it has helped other adults like me. Thank you for making adult life a little bit easier. Being a adult is so difficult
Well, it's time to review everything, then file. You can take one last look at all of the sections and make sure nothing looks off or is missing. E-sign the document once everything looks up to snuff and you're on your way.
It will likely take a while for the IRS to accept the submission, anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. And it can be even longer to process it fully. To get written instructions on how to file online and a breakdown of the pros and cons of each filing method, read our guide on Finder.com.
Thank you as a 18 year old. This helped me a bit. Unironically tho, thanks for the information. This will help me once I get a job and/or get to college next year.
