I used two different bright lights, you may think that you have everything out of your charging port, but you really don’t. It took me quite a while to get everything cleaned up. Now my phone charger is normally and I don’t have to wrap it around my phone just for to charge LMAO.

What i did was using the front end of a paper airplane because it is:
Probably softer than a toothpick
Long and pointy
And still strong enough to scrape some dust out.
I also blew into the port instead of buying compressed air
0:23 oh.
@The_AliasSo tired of my charger falling out when I’m asleep 😫
@duckindewThe toothpick pulled out so much pocket fuzz in my husbands phone charging port and now it charges better.
@tpotts4I used a match stick. Flatten it at the tip and clean away. Worked a treat.🙏
@ilikechocolatealot6355Hey ! this helped: Saved 50$
@rupeshkumarpandey6293Instead or a wooden toothpick consider Purodent brush sticks which are thinner and stronger plastic with the perfect shape - one end smooth and one end with a micro brush.
@tomchupick9450Now, I understand why phone covers have a piece that covers the charging port. Saved Me some money, I was gonna have the phone cleaned.
@dontreadtoomuchintomycommentWorked❤ well and good now
@bonegaming6112The first time I cleaned it, I thought I did it properly but it didn’t work, so I was planning to take it to a repairman. But then my sister cleaned it with a needle and a flashlight, and it started charging. I hadn’t noticed that the cable wasn’t going all the way in — it should click in fully when charging. In my case, it wasn’t going in completely. Try plugging your charging cable into another iPhone and see if you notice the difference.
@aqL1yElectrical contact cleaner is what’s needed
@AnthonyToth-t5vcan't believe i went a whole month holding my charger at an angle you're a life saver 😂😂
@AtinsMusicI guess I’m the idiot here. I did this and now my phone won’t charge at all. The charger feels like it isn’t going in all the way. Could I have made it worse somehow??
@gillart99Didn't help
@Corkfish1not pinset?
@Wowwow-wl3kxWhat if you dont have compressed air?
@Rossoneri_22just bought an iphone 13 for $140 and oh man... scared the shit out of me when i couldnt charge it. grabbed a toothpick adn soo much dust came out of it and it finally worked. try this!!
@samspeakingfactsAnyone use alcohol on the tooth pick?
No not a martini! Wood alcohol for cleaning any grease or oil that got in the port.
After extracting a small mouse family, my iPhone charges perfectly. Who knew? (And how did the mice get in there?)
@jchalmers5669I tried and it made it worse. I don't recommend trying to clean it with a toothpick
@martimzuritaThe soft plastic toothpicks you get from the dentist work especially well for this job, and being slightly tacky any lint sticks to them.
@RickyJr46OMG, I had no idea how much lint was inside until using the toothpick. Problem solved, thanks!
@morsymusicThree shots of compressed air and it works as if it’s brand new this is fascinating 😂
@NikolaiPCulpWorked! If you don’t have a can of compressed air, just blow it yourself.
@DeanStricksonthis was so helpful. I actually took phone to a local shop and they were asking so much money. Said it's the new owner these are the prices. Looks like there is lint and dust. I came back home saw your video and vola it all worked now. So happy, thanks!
@myCApostingsAvoid licking the Charging Port, no matter how Delicious it may look! 😄
@MrRolandMichelAir compressors work well for this. Even though this is the case, my plug has an issue, not the port
@johnpeiredaquavoii2213saved me $50 thanks
@itslia_03I almost turned off my phone fallowing the directions
@AYoung-r9rIt worked! Thank you!
@jmfa57I just used a toothpick on instinct. I had lint mushed up hard in there which was keeping it from inserting all the way. Worked like a charm. Next time I will use compressed air in the process. I bought a whole new case and a MagSafe charger and a MagSafe charger for my call because thought the port was no longer working. Now I’m returning all that stuff. Can’t believe i didn’t think to do this cleaning before all that 😅😂
@JakeD5n4k3Good video! Just fixed my issue. My cord wouldn’t fully clip in and had to be held a certain way to charge. Toothpick alone did the job. Now I can move my phone around and not have to hold the cord to the left side. No alcohol here as I don’t want to risk other debris getting deeper. No air duster either so after the first try under magnifier, I went by feel and held phone upside down. Wow at what came out.
@briank3940I actually used a zip tie instead and it seemed to of worked abit
@UniverseEditZ-kk4jrThanks Inside Her Tech!
@SexyTexasmy iphone stops charging when I move it. I tested the charger on another iPhone and it charges normally even if I move it, I blew it with air, I cleaned it with a toothpick but still when I move the phone it doesn't charge anymore
