Hey @KarlRock,
I’m an RPF (Railway Protection Force) constable and one of your recent subscribers! Originally from ❤ Darjeeling, I’m proud to serve in the RPF, a security force under the Ministry of Railways that ensures passenger safety, protects railway property, and maintains order across the Indian Railways.
I’m a Catholic and can speak English quite well, even though I’m "just" a constable. Recently, I subscribed to your YouTube channel, and I must say—I’m getting addicted to your content! Kudos to you for the amazing work you do... Keep going.

Great vid Karl. A big improvement from when I travelled on the train in the 1980s. I have also travelled on the trains in Thailand 😊

6:00 RPF is Railway Protection Force used by Indian Railways
@NaveenKumar07When you can't accept truth - don't blame any system - this is my philosophy 😂
@chinnabandarjagannathHey Karl. Woman here. If your wife “doesn’t use any bathrooms in India”, then where does she relieve herself? This is a massive issue for women foreigners too. You skipped over the solution and we want to know where to go! 😅
@superpoodleheadyou're so handsome!! look older but even handsomer. You look a bit dehydrated and maybe need some water <3
@masonjames00There is Lifestraw (or other brannd) water bottle that filters out bacteris/worms from water, thus it's safe to drink public water.
@handoko2020Ram Ram jee
@freeedom8575I lived ib Hubbali for two years (1994-1996). I visited Hospet a few times. It is a city, not a village.
@atulbesra822We recently travelled 9 hours on the train from Kolkata north to Jamalpur. Seats one way and sleeper on the way back. 9 hours was as long as I would do in seats. The overnight sleeper was very good. You sleep in your clothes but you get blankets and pillows. Quite comfortable actually. We all locked our bags and padlocked them the to the bunk under blankets. If you are starting from a decent hotel I recommend asking your hotel if they can make up a food parcel for the trip. Some trains have an Indian style WC at one end and Western style WC at the other. You often get approached by people when out and about in India. Frequently they want to sell you something but you do also get people who are just curious to know where you are from. The trick is working out which they are. Personally I'd steer clear of the dogs (fleas). For some trips a taxi is a good idea. We took one from Delhi Airport to Agra, a trip of about 3 hours. If you are in a small group to share the cost its a lot more convenient than going into Delhi to get the train.
@ColinWattersKarl visit Assam❤
@pankajchoudhury8117Govt and public must do more for this type of important tourist place station.
@pankajchoudhury8117Yeah. I have to add my tuppence worth of appreciation for your vids. I'm having thoughts of a trip over myself, so it was very informative.
Thanks for that mate!
This is weird because ive seen alot of the same footage on video with my dear friend that lives in India but never any explanation of whats what - I stayed on the phone with her so she could feel safe.
@TheSilverLuteThe place sounds disgusting. Scammers thicker than flies on shit. Going to a restaurant is risky business, be alert, How could you have a peaceful vacation?
@garykapFor train running status download where is my train app
@infinitesolutionRPF is railway protection force,its a central paramilitary force dedicated to railway property security and law enforcement.
Another is GRP which is government railway police which comes under respective state government and the consist of personal from state police.
❤❤❤
@SimplelifewithsonikaIn karnataka it is NAMASKARA and not RAM RAM. Playing and touching stray dogs is not a good Idea at all, you can end up picking up infections
@parimalkumarRetailBI-ArchitectPlease, come west uttar pradesh
@STUDYWITHLOKENDRAKUMAR14313:15 When a native english speaker starts calling his language "Angrezi" , it shows that how much he has become Indian now from inside. ❤
@paramjeet_dhullHospete is not rural station. Hospete is Bangalores big satellite town. Couple of years and it will be part of Bangalore city
@nishu413The problem with Indian trains is they are beyond cost effective to repair and Indian transport is 5x slower than international standards. In addition, Indian ports were never modernized. If Brazil needed coal, it would take too long to process the order.
@BaronEvola123Love from india
@Billa_Hu_YrrrLooks like you are catching train from junction, so it must be a tier 2 city.
@notyet4495You seem to vibe more w north india than the south!

@basavakumar56123:23 and THAT is the #1 reason i have no interest in visiting india. Your videos have increased my desire but those washrooms are a deal breaker!
@nonyabusiness2703Love that you show us the real India, it’s still stunning but without the tourists filter
