Let's take a trip to the early 90's when racing was raw and if you didn't prove yourself in your first race, you were cut. One of the few men I have ever had the privelage of asking what those years were truly like was Tom Kristensen; a 9 time winner of Le Mans, winner of Japan Formula Three, Germany Formula Three, and a few other series.
A video that is meant for those looking to learn more about Tom Kristensen; Mr. Le Mans. I don't expect this video to go crazy with views, but a part of me really enjoyed speaking with Tom on his start in racing and his time in Japan. In this VERY raw talk, I spend time trying to go back to talk about racecraft, his time in Japan at Fuji Speedway, what it was like racing Nissan Skylines, and how he balances the ability to jump into any type of car to perform on lap 1. We talk about Max Verstappen, Formula1, and how to find the edge of a car on any circuit. Truthfully speaking, it was one of my favorite talks so far that we've done this year and I hope you enjoy it too. I feel like a bad mom, it's taken me too long to realize that I should have gotten my daughter into kart racing years ago. But, onward and upward! She just turned 20 in March. I think we both realized that racing is what she wants to do. SO LET'S DO THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
