I love how ex-pats are just "ga-ga" about leaving the U.S., only to find that laws and rules of residency, (or citizenship), are more strict than they are back home! In the U.S, you're not required to partner with a native, if you are a foreigner who wants to start their own business! In the U.S., no one is going to haul you off to jail for raising the flag of the country you came from! In the U.S., if you choose to walk around without underwear, you might draw attention, but you won't be arrested! There are still FAR MORE reasons to choose the U.S. over other countries, including FOOD, NATURE, the LANDSCAPE, JOBS, etc.! It's great if you want to live somewhere else in the world, but don't live on this false image that that you left AMERICA, because the U.S. is some big prison where your rights are stifled! The U.S. has it's warts and flaws, JUST LIKE THAILAND and OTHER COUNTRIES, but by far, it's still the greatest country in the world! That's why so many are willing to break its immigration laws to live here! You think ICE is bad here? Get caught living in another country illegally, and see how THAT works out! I am speaking as a man who who has visited many countries around the world! It was all fun, but the greatest pleasure was knowing I'd be back home in, where there are true freedoms, and pursuits to enjoy!
