So for the long-time viewers, you know that I've done a gambling ad before. I haven't taken one since and I necessarily don't think it's wrong but I'm curious to hear your thoughts. What do yall think about online gambling?
But one focus for me is working with sponsors like OpusClip that I genuinely use and and it supports the channel to keep making bigger and better videos. So if you want to support me, use my link to get 50% off for 3 month. - https://clip.opus.pro/dashboard?special_credit=GEN.

One of the interesting things I think about people sports betting is that you have no control over what happens. If you bet on Steph Curry to hit a certain number of 3 pointers for example in a random game, itβs pretty much based on your knowledge of whatever youβre betting on. What I mean by that is I think the reason make these sports bets are because they have watched these athletes so much but I donβt understand betting money on them when you have no control over if you lose or win.

Addiction to online gambling is worse than a drug addiction because with online gabling, your dealer always has the stuff 24/7 instantly in your pocket. I just realized how sick it is that the people that work in a casino are called dealers, just like the name of the person you buy drugs from. That is not a mistake. Spelling is very powerful.

Hey, a quick type for people in the UK using Llyods bank (though Iβm sure other banks do it too), thereβs a setting in app that you can turn on that blocks gambling sites and casinos :)

I think non-institutional gambling like small bets between friends is fine. But I think the problem is institutional gambling.

The claims that gambling, including state lotteries, help to fund education are very misleading. The state earmarks how much of its budget is spent on education and the gambling revenue offsets that money into some other expenditures the state would like to spend money on. Expenditures the public may not approve of or necessarily need. Whether it "matches" it or whatever, it's all the same. The state will spend the exact same amount on schools regardless of gambling tax and revenue. It's sneaky and dishonest, as usual.

I'm dumb as shit and addiction prone. One thing I don't do is gamble.

It also ruined Brazil as well. And it also made us broke
@Fe2nyan2k10malwareImma go gamble in bitlife
@DanUI-3210commercials from JackpotGo and their spin off games are now targeting the younger generation. Their odds indicate they are easy prey who will fork over their money with little to no intelligent thought. The actors in the commercials have zero self respect or dignity; I guess it's anything for a buck in their minds.
@maninthewilderness3208Best thing I ever did for myself was recognising I have a addictive personality and avoiding any kind of gambling.
@sideshowmo653I donβt know if itβs the ocd or the anger issues but Iβve gambled twice in my life, won $5 the first time then lost $20. I was so enraged I had to just get in my car and drive home. I cannot fathom losing several hundred or thousand dollars and not spontaneously combusting with rage
@QueenAmara6942028:45 by that logic we should just legalize all drugs because people are going to take the risk that they want
@Mr_NB62820:38 gross
@Mr_NB62819:29 ESPN is no longer really about sports. It's about telling you the betting odds. It's ludicrous.
@Mr_NB62816:07 wow I dodged a bullet not liking sports. Plus, if I'm gonna go to a casino, I'm playing baccarat or pai gow. Both games having about a 50/50 chance of winning.
@Mr_NB62810:29 gambling is bad!
I'm going to sell you an AI program that contributes to you doom scrolling on YouTube shorts ππΌ
2:31 smoking CIGARETTES has gone down. Vaping and nicotine pouches have skyrocketed.
@Mr_NB628A YouTuber actually calling himself out for taking a gambling ad sponsor. Very nice
@wiseguy9718I worked in marketing for online gambling...the goal is not short-term profits, it's normalization in the long run...
@CxerRy9622:12 Bullshit. She's ABSOLUTELY sexualizing herself. Who the hell is she trying to convince with this bold faced lie? π€£ Like come on girl. Nobody with half a brain is buying that crap. I'm not hating on the game, go get that money, but at least have the self-respect to own what you do. π€·
@Cooe.I hated everyone in this video including the creator π Dudes a clown
@Stacyss_Momm20:42 try wearing a turtle neck every video or only shooting neck up see how your number go..lol

@Lonegoat00the fuck are you talikng to reform and act like its normal
@lenas6246Think about it, the onceβs hooked are the ones who are winning big. The the losers are the ones who didnβt fall for there trap
@Obscencelove this channel
@borsarellie.9184I don't see the appeal in gambling at all. I don't have enough money to risk it like that.
@ratyokeWhat a bizarre conclusion to the video. Spending the first 27 minutes on detailing the history of legal addictive products and the more-predatory-than-ever business of gambling only to end the video with "idk it should still be legal i think we just need to be careful" seems contradictory. I think it's natural to minimize the negative impact of something you've publicly supported in the (very recent) past, but it makes the thumbnail and entire existence of this video feel like an inauthentic attempt to hop on the "anti-gambling bandwagon" in the youtuber space. Either treat it as the serious issue that it is or just admit that you're mostly neutral to it. Like you said, everyone but the gambler makes money, and you are no gambler.
@foolinganz6211Stumbled across this video today, and Iβd say Iβm addicted to a point. I would say between sports betting and online slots I spend a couple hundred every two weeks. But, I know what expendable income I have. If I didnβt have it, I wouldnβt play anymore. All my bills are paid and everything else is taken care of first no matter what. I have never bet more than I could afford.
@Russman83Crazy bcs we here in Indonesia face the same problem but that's bcs education here is not that great and the law is really weak. Oh and also bcs neighbors countries protect these gambling and organ trafficker mafia
@Samuelrodrigues_Which platform are you all betting on right now?
@CREATIONSHOW010I searched up rainbet on the search bar, this is on the top, thank you algorithm for being generous
@mac_er9275Every single ad I saw on this video was a gambling ad.
@grayson87264what bro sends me after he gets rinsed.
@videocure846This should be illegal everywhere, and threated exactly like cartels and human trafficking
@jtgfjfhghyrydygfufyry6307Been getting so many ads for just gambling.
@MinaAteYourRamenGamblers gamble more than just money. This is a drug that affects their lives and everyone connected to them. Then, it infects society when society didn't ask for it. It's a virus that will kill everything and these asshole companies are promoting it. Grow a brain and stop playing that deadly game!
@jros2020WTFdoUwantEvery single add I got while watching this video was advertisement for casino
@charlesring-b7k8:40 "Welcome to Bet Master Casino!"
@R.NGrantI hate gambling and live in the UK; constantly seeing older dudes on gambling machines in pubs and seeing my unc leaving betting brokers is pretty depressing, been asked for money and followed for saying by ppl who just came out of those places too.
@cthult7856Glad I worked in a casino. Once you see "how the sausage gets made" it changes how you view an industry like this. The closest I got to feeling "evil" was working as a cashier there knowing someone just lost their mortgage for the month but all you can do is stay up beat and offer the odd free drinks or dinner and just keep milking them as long as possible. Personally gambling should only be available to 21 or older plus only available in physical locations that are required to check ID to help prevent fraud and money laundering and excessive addiction. Having it all on your phone makes it too easy to get addicts to keep giving up money.
@Self-Aware-Russian-BotOne thing all degenerate gamblers have in common is the "I can win back my losses" thinking. The laws of probability say this is VERY unlikely. You will win just enough to make you think you can do it.
