Did that nincompoop Palmer just call Max' start "George Russel-esque". Dear me Jolyon, you had to didn't you. Ya sodding numper.

It is not only confidence in the brakes and opportunistic!! It is pure feel with the car, it is instinct and also enourmously brave….. it is just amazing …… he is the GOAT as Lauda already predicted. There will never be a driver with those skills everrrr

The best thing of this performance is his comment! To British press " where are you now? " when you can bash me, you are everywhere but I don't see anyone now? Why !

@robvanlent1008

Very cool how he hold back in turn 2 to keep on the outside and blast it in turn 3 instead.

Why is there no talk about how Tsunoda delayed the entire group behind him until Verstapen arrived?

After I threw F1TV out for the outrageous discriminatory price increase ONLY for the Netherlands
Is this the only thing I miss

I'm sorry dear Jolyon, but we don't know how Max did it. You cannot explain talent: you have it - or you don't.

@Steinstra-vj7wl

Lando is a very TALENTED driver! Lost 1 position on lap 1 and finished the race from P1 to P6. Wow!😂

Practised a lot while he was a child. His father Jos would drive the truck hours and hours to italy for a couple of laps on a wet track

Max is the best F1 driver ever - period.

I keep reading about the pundits complaining that drivers are giving Verstappen a free ride, letting him pass without battling him the same way they did with Schumacher.
Have these guys ever driven competitively on a track?
Because every lateral move you make cumulatively scrubs increments of time off your pace. How many times have you seen p1 disappear over the Horizon because p2 and p3 are battling.
So if you are p7 and try to hold up Verstappen, he's going to get by you eventually, and then Gasly in P6 just lets him through, guess what?
The gap between you and Gasly has just opened up now.
Your job is to catch P6 and you're not going to do that if you insist on changing your focus to stop the inevitable.
If the people saying this have actually raced competitively on a track, I can see why they're a pundit now. When I was racing I had a rule about that. You can pick fights or you can win. Your choice.

You guys still did not make an inside story episode on this huh

Thank you Joylon for the nice analyses

Are you sure you've got the colors correct on the comparision between Ocon and Verstappen in L29??? On your screen the speed of Ocon is mostly above that of Verstappen and that seems very unlikely to me. Was Ocon faster in this lap than Verstappen??

So sad you never see this kind of telemetry information in regular broadcasts or even the after-race analysis.

Absolute savage display from MV....This race will be studied for decades. One of the all time best F1 drives.

That trace comparison seems to show the RedBull car had amazing braking ability. Max was not having to modulate the brakes anywhere near as much as Lando. Nice anti-lock brake system they have there whatever it is. Or they are getting crazy extra downforce under braking maybe.

Great run through!

@pchris6662

They used to say Hamilton was the best in the wet!

Max down the inside….

Max also said he was being cautious compared to 2016!!! 😂😂😂

@bristo424

Wow... Joylon said in the F1 channel Lando Norris leaving the track and gaining advantage as taking the runoff area, lol which track has a run off to cut a race corner .... They just go by their given script and dont state the facts... Sad state for F1 and they call themselves pudits of the sport 😒😒😒

Let's wait for a Norris masterclass............

Beside the fact that Verstappen is the current best driver, there might be a matter of car that may be slower but more stable.

I'm so glad at least some of these are uploaded to YouTube.
I hate that we don't have access to F1TV Pro in Germany.
Sky is 40 bucks a month now, just for Sports... crazy.

I don’t like Max, but boy he can drive a race car. Immense talent

I love these analyses, Palmer is a treat to listen to!

@fakkeltje9871

Because he did it in 2016 too, this is just the confirmation. It is called The Great Equalizer 🌧️ Niki Lauda’s Mercedes F1 Team was the Greatest F1 Team Of All Time, Max is the Greatest F1 driver Of All Time. To me at least. We can agree to disagree ✌️😗

Percentage of race wins in wet conditions is what counts to me.

Epic drive by legend Max

@BeeTB1

This is a proper analysis. The luck part was already ticked off by the red flag during qualifying, but glad you still mentioned it.
I would have also loved to see a fastest race lap comparison between Verstappen and Norris, that would be really interesting. Or the wettest lap compared between those two.
I would love to see the gears as well, as I suspect early shifts by Verstappen.
The great drivers stepped up in the rain, as usual. And they all got obliterated by Verstappen.
I am also really looking forward to a proper rain race in a couple of years time, when the talented rookies like Colapinto of Bearman have some experience.

@jaspervos4345

Tender how brits now praising Verstappen whereas one week earlier they all were in attack mode...where is D Hill now why he's not talking???🤣🤣🤣🤣

Flood the tracks! That'll turn things into drivers' races instead of manufacturers' raced and separate the boys from the men😉
