Great advice even for life and business

00:00 - Intro

00:37 - Small Champion Pool/OTP

I have beef with the term 'int'. If you are trying to win and just take a risky fight, you are inherently not losing INTentinonlly. ESPECIALLY as a new/ low ranked player. Inting is an overused term which should only apply to people either throwing or just not caring about their team winning.

— @Joegriffiths507

02:03 - Limit Test Everything

03:06 - Review your own VODs/Coaching

Just started playing again a few weeks ago after a long hiatus. The first point is what I struggle with. It's hard to find a champion or two that I want to stick to. I'm also stuck between playing top lane and mid lane. The champion that first grabbed my eye was Riven however from all the things I read about her, I'd have to sink hundreds and hundreds of games just to be competent on her.

05:00 - Watch High Elo Players The Right Way

07:28 - Learn Your Matchups (Even the Hard ones!)

It's not that unique, I've already heard all of this.

— @karolbielen2090

08:43 - Focus on winning Lane

11:10 - Think in Probabilities

There are so little Videos about how to play the game 🤣 i never played moba Before and they talk about wave control like everybody knows what that is. I dont even know what to do after laning Phase and there are so few Videos explaining "simple" things like that

— @Wurstwasserwilli

13:05 - Build the Right Habits

15:05 - Keep your Emotions out of the Game

thanks for the advice! YOU GET FREE HEAD FOR A MONTH

19:05 - Outro

Need some extra help?

just push lanes as default man imo real bad advice

Hey bro, great video! Would u say ARAM is good for learning other champs kits? I’m new to the game lv 40 and just die bc I dunno what the other champ does.

If you want to climb just watch zen coaching, he has guides for each role and know what he is talking about

Very sound advice but for some people (me) fundamentals and macro keep them in low elo, I went from bronze to gold in 2 months specifically focusing on them

Best league educational content I've seen so far. Been playing this game for 4 years on and off, but i remember the times i used to love akali and katarina, til one day i got stomped by an orianna, i kept getting stomped by oriannas like 9 times out of 10 whenever i see her and i said naw man, this champ is annoying asf, but little did i know that champwould be my main, after playing her a couple times i fell inlove with the champ, i legit saw no other mages i wanted to play but her, the amount of wave control and poke potential she has once mastered is something else...and since then i kept on playing her, focusing more on learning the game through each match i played, spacing, lasthitting etc and my laning got wayy better than before, still have improvements to make but im getting there. Just subbed, this video was gold

“Pick one champion, lock in, pick one champion only, One trick , For me that champion was Yasuo and Yone “

😂😂 that was funny af.

Good info though for people.

I climbed from bronze 1 to masters in one season.

MLA - Coach Curtis videos helped alot, block of 3 games, vod reviewing etc.

Find the best player in the Korea or whatever server that plays your champion.

All great advice

Hello there ! Your video confirms what i thought. Only time i skyrocketed in elo was when i went fully in depths in hour guides video on a champ by challenger otp passionate by the champ and watching every evening replays of challenger otps in korea of senna and try to understand why and how.

Now i’m stuck, because i keep changing roles and champions, but i will again focus on exactly what you said. Currently E2. Planing to meet you in master.

Cheers mate, thank you so much for all of us !

i cant express how wrong that vlad matchup advice is.. do NOT shove in vlad. most good vlad players can farm under tower quite easily and hell get to scale for free.. how to beat vlad is you roam and create map pressure or freeze and run him down his all in is weak for the first 10 mins

@raitonookami569
@

Playing as adc doesn't work like that, you need solo lane to be able to do anything

@Dreustechno

Another important question is “Do i really want to get better at this toxic strategy game or should i keep having fun moving my chess pieces randomly”

@silversirenity
@

Every piece of good advice I’ve ever gotten for league can be summed up to “pay real dedicated attention and focus to the game.” And it’s literally all you need i do agree it is easier to pay attention on one champ but thoroughly learning a few champs as you go is more realistic as by design league incentivises you to play more than one champion. Great video!

@silversirenity
@

I do agree with everything you've said but also mid-master is just old diamond. You guys have fully developed how the game is suppose to be played but the "coaches" that will coach you should not be mid master, I recommend GM+ just due to the fact that all of them have "their own" take on macro and how the game is meant to be played vs. someone who pretty much has all of their macro clean cut and the only thing that's missing out of their kit to hit challenger micro adjustments and down-to-the-second details that GMs are currently working on. That is if you want the best bang for your buck. I also would not recommend coaching until you've hit D1/Masters because like Kyle has stated, you really do not need it until you've come to the plateau of shit you hit later on eventually.

I'm going to sound like I'm contradicting myself here, but getting coaching by anyone when you are 100% new or absolutely lost has it's merits, anyone who can point you in a productive direction or give you new ideas to work off of to formulate how you as a person plays the game.

The best advice I've ever heard of is League is a marathon and not a sprint, and it's true- every single patch the game changes and it's always something different. Whether they're recycling metas or adding new map onjectives, etc. You will be a god one split, and fall to the depths of your LP toilet after a bad case of Taco Bell on a taco Tuesday night because your brain still stuck on the previous patches. Play your games, and remember it's a game. Have fun, and relax and blow shit up.

Take it for what it's worth, as a challenger player I 100% agree with this dude.

Great video, massive props homie. I hear the passion in your voice and I'm glad you've got that.

Have fun, see you on the rift.

Ive been playing for 3 weeks now and i main ahri. I freaking love her, she got me into the game too

@ya_boi_milo
@

was GM a couple times and I agree with basically everything almost to a t. Even if I disagree with how you play I can tell you are going to keep climbing. Great video bro

@Terence_Teng
@

Such great informative video. Been hardstuck in emerald for some time and i stumbled upon your video. Just one question, how often do you do (or do i need) VOD reviews? Do you do it after every gaming session or do you just pick certain games that you play, compile them and then review them maybe once a week?

@kurtharvey9041
@

if u care about in depth content: coach curtis

@EnErGetYxArts

how do you not have more views cause i watch a lot of league videos none are this good

@isakutor9741
@

Started playing league a week ago videos like these help me not feel lost the entire game. thanks a lot ❤

@gocats27
@

winning lane is useless in low elo. I just went 7-0 in lane as adc and the moment laning ends the game is over. Every other lanes including the jungler was running it down.

@L3nneth
@

but like why is your first instinct to create a how to guide after going from bronze to master?

you realize master tier is the shittiest apex rank, I wouldn't even consider you to be good at the game not even slightly. I think you should hit challenger and then start making content. master players aren't good at all they just know the basics.

@dion9795
@

I just let the algorithm do the job. If I win constantly I'll expect that I'll get strong players and if I lose constantly I'll have to rest for a bit so I wouldn't get tilted if I play again which will affect my performance if I'm playing tilted and burned out so resting is also okay. You lose some and you win some... Just enjoy the game and avoid blaming teammates.

Watch hour long guides, not 20 minute bullshit - 20 minute bullshit vid
If you don't know if you win a fight, just flip it! You have to limit test to learn! 10 minutes later: ONLY take unfair, high percentage fights!
