@thawayofsnootleWhy was 2019 an entire 7 years ago and why can’t I get off this macabre carousel. Please, someone, get me off.
@jacob8949I completely understand the album better in the background part. I’ve felt that many times with albums
@DefinitelyLezClapoolWhen i was first listened to tpab i was for some reason like. “J cole was prob right people were probably gassing this up” but those vocals and sounds were great
@Albetrech_of_wiltshireI watched your videos in 2011/2012 in college when I was thinking about doing reviews but was too scared to get started. This is still super helpful in 2026. a lot of ppl do this, but there isn't a lot of info re: how to approach it like a skill and how to become an effective listener. sooo if anyone has recommendations on tools about how to learn to identify/describe technical aspects of music such as production elements, song structure, esp for someone who loves music but doesn't have a musical background, that would be helpful too. Trying to not just say "oh this is fireee" lol i want to learn how to describe what i'm hearing better.
@91_rareWith the ears
@cactuzbroi have listened to a song before...
@zaph3788Can I get support.. I'm a new music artist😢
@THERGMMUSICi understand everybody consumes and appreciates art differently but i dont think rolling your tongue around and gnawing down on the vinyl to "taste the very essence of the songs" is how listening to music works
@OkmaybeOneSoVileOof, not the Daughters album on the thumbnail 😂 ik this is super old, I just thought it was funny
@allentasticWe do not care.

@ashybabyHow I listen to an Album:
1. Listening it for the first time
2. Seeing theneedledrop review about it
3. Hating on Fantano if he doesn't like it, forgetting that it's just his opinioon
4. Regretting.
Why haven't you review any Dr Dog albums so far? Don't you find them may be even a little bit interesting?
@julbas2113nice method man. You can explian it good and minimalistic. Nive man,
@pluralidadAnother band from South Africa that might tickle your fancy, a pair of Alt Rock girls "The SoapGirls", four albums in and touring like crazy, their music and message is another worth a listen
@MrEmptyheadThank you souch Reviewthony!!
Now I can pretend I'm listen to music and get away with it!
If you enjoy well sequences albums that flow well and tell a story I would highly recommend "Blur" by "Neptunia". It’s a synthetic, multi genre, and experimental exploration into themes of relationships, spirituality, and transformation makes me dance, feel, and think.
@OwenGaigerWhy test my pause game for essentially nothing
@ISHEJAYWell no wonder welcome to the madhouse got a 0, you were listening to it on shuffle bass boosted with max reverb
@VyletPonyFan328organic following hahah nice one
@SonicRevelationsSo he did all of that for swimming and still gave it a 3 . Wow

@RosemaryGabardI think he does it with his ears but I know a guy who has implants
@Goober504Dear anthony,
Thank you for telling me how to enjoy music. I realized that I was enjoying it the wrong way.
I think Anthony just skims through all of the songs and makes the worst opinion he can
@jmoneymanmoneyIf this was called "How I Listen to a Good Pimp Mad Butterflies," then you would've given it a 10.
@consentwastaken2How a hipster listens to an album: the manual.
@Asdwer1Listening to Placebo is very good for your ears 🙂.
@matthiasgeeroms2509did no one notice 3:27, theres a glitch!!!! am i going insane????
@chainsawcat_616imagine doing such a process then giving a 0 to that album
@davallinicola4594I used to think that fantano would rate an album based on if its like TPAB or not💀
@Spider_Apologist1. Listen to album form independent thoughts
2. Hear people talk about how good/bad it it’s.
3. Listen to it again
4. Give same opinion slightly different.
ah shit i thought running an album front to back then going back and listening to the standout songs was enough
@tatacraft791thank you
@bratxcx365oh man he has a red flannel on he hates this album
@BUMBUM292I doubt he did this process with Vultures
@AlexA00
