This is the first sponsor of the channel. I’ve finally found a product that I can truly stand behind. TIKR is an excellent tool for the intelligent investor to discover new investing opportunities. Personally, I’ve used TIKR since early 2021.
Maybe you are asking yourself: Is $15 per month ($30 with PRO) worth it? If you do, that's a good thing, a great investor should always ask if outlays of cash today will yield returns for the future. Consider this. If using TIKR and doing real fundamental analysis on the companies that you invest in can help you improve your yearly returns by even just 1%, then you need a minimum of $18k in your portfolio to justify a yearly PLUS subscription ($15 * 12 / 1%). Anything beyond a 1% improvement in returns would be profit.

Yahoo finance is my go-to location for my investigation. It's reliable and Free.
As a stock market investor, there's no way that you can look at and evaluate all the tens of thousands of publicly listed companies individually. However, you can narrow this massive number down into a short-list of better than average opportunities by looking at specific key ratios. Much like an expert chess player, the intelligent investor wants to filter out the mediocre or even stupid moves right from the get-go. Let me show you a strategy that has been very profitable for me since I started investing in 2013.
How do you find great investment opportunities? Do you ask around among friends and family? Or maybe you should copy the investments of some YouTuber or Twitterer with lots of followers? I disagree with both approaches. Warren Buffett: "You can't buy what is popular and do well." I'll soon show you a third option.
"To beat the market, you must do something different from the market".
-Howord Marks.
When investing in a stock market company, there are many things that you want to see. Preferably, the company should be cheap, it should be able to pay out lots of money to you as a shareholder, it should be financially stable, it should be growing, it should have experienced and dedicated management, it should have a so-called moat, which keeps competing businesses at bay, it should be in a favorable political situation, etc. Now, some of these things, you can check in just a few seconds, while others may take days or even weeks to understand, depending on your level of ambition.
When I'm investing in the stock market, I look at the fast-to-check variables first and exclude companies that do not fulfill them. If you do the same, you'll save a lot of time, and you can focus your efforts on better-than-average opportunities. After all, I think that most of us want our "hourly wage" to be as high as possible.
thank you for sharing the step by step how to find great stocks!
Back in the 1950s, when Warren Buffett started out on his investing journey, he plowed through elephant books such as the Moody's Manuals to find investment ideas. These books had many thousands of pages. Luckily, you and I do not have to do that anymore because we live in the digital age. Today, many investment research platforms can help in your hunt for overperformance, and the best one that I've used in recent years is one called TIKR.

I believe he should have filtered on market capitalisation, all those companies are large cap and as one investment guru once said "elephants don't gallop"
My goal with this channel is to help you make more money and improve your personal finances. How to become a millionaire? There are many ways to get there – investing in the stock market, becoming a stock trader, doing real estate investing, or why not becoming an entrepreneur? But whether you are interested in how to invest in stocks or investing strategies for creating passive income with rental properties – I hope to be able to provide you with a solution (or at least an idea) here. Warren Buffett - the greatest investor of our time - says that you should fill your mind with competing ideas and then see what makes sense to you. This channel is about filling your mind with those ideas. And in the process – upgrading your money-making toolbox.

Do you still recommend TIKR in 2025?
@oc1385Great step-by-step method! Very clear and helpful for finding stocks. Thanks for sharing!
@trantruc9153Super information useful video I asked one question please fii and dii how to one stock shear buying fii and dii how to du analysis tell me one video please🙏
@santoshkumar-pq4uc3 years later the mentioned companies have hugely outperformed the market.
The problem with this strategy (as well any other strategy) is that there are teams of people who do way more accurate screening than what a retail investor can archive just looking at a couple of indicators for a few hours.
And they barely beat the market (before fees).
Thank you for providing quality videos like this for free
@slogansleezWait if I just look at valuation from Morning Star or Refinitiv? Are they reliable?
@andreabarral7282Update
@luisduron2722Munger worded his statement about the 6% return rather poorly. If you have $1000 to invest and that buys you 50 shares versus that giving you 75 shares if you got a deep discount, and you have that 6% growth, you will have substantially more money in 40 years.
@jasondashneyhaven't been able to search the comments below, but I don't understand why you would use RoA when ROIC or ROCE seem to be a lot better to judge exactly what are you trying to portray with the example of the restaurants. Even more considering there are things like Goodwill and such other intangibles that can be very significant I would consider the results under such a screen as moderatly good at best. I would be interested to now why you are not using any of these other metrics instead of the mentioned RoA?
@sandokan_ggBy the way TIKR is just another financial tool out there, it doesn’t do anything special. There are tools way more better than this and can offer more value for money
@andybrown2906Not great. Not terrible. Very one-sided and incomplete. Good description and promotion of tikr website thou which I appreciate, but this could have been a much better video if all investing aspects would have been covered, not just a portion of them.
@adyo19What's the most effective strategy during this period of volatility with the rate cut? Most of my portfolio is in (20% Index funds, 20% CD's 30% Bonds/T-bills and other assets) I want to explore different strategies to benefit from a potential bubble.
@MirouSalkoupamheck! you're not just a great investor, a great Swede, you're a gem of a salesman as well! I'll buy Tikr for a year instantly.
@DOXBOKIwhatt do you use to edit/make your videos with
@SSalted-ie3nyThis is excellent content, golden quality. Thanks you
@boyinavaultthe roa>10% wont give you many growth stock opportunities
@IthynonousI think ROA sounds good but is not relevant for stock returns (as shown by Tobias Carlisle).
@michaelboller5314I know you said not to subscribe but after watching this video, I need to.
I’m upskilling into data analytics as a project management professional. But, I also have that entrepreneurial itch.
You kept it real, authentic and truthful in this video. That’s why you’ve earned my sub!
Thank you swedish investor.
We need to pay for TIRK . I just make a move in my investment may be 4 times a year. Is it possible to pay for one day ? ( TIRK or alike )
Etfs💀
@zaheerwaqas8760❤
@Thanhnguyen-zr8ekI looked at the stocks he mentioned that were undervalued (since the date of this video) and 2/5 were correct being: META & MRK with tremendous returns. 3/5 were wrong being Target, UPS, and BHP. However the returns of META and MRK still outweigh the losses of the 3 underperforming companies. While it’s important to do your research about companies, it’s also a necessity to have a diversified portfolio. GREAT VIDEO Swedish investor!!!
@notcesar2786but dont buy korean stocks..
@justinkim8856Good infos for beginners ... but there are a lot of platforms out there for analysing and simulating ... tikr isnt alone.
@PyramidalistКак говорится: ЛЕГЧАЙШАЯ! Для кого? ДЛЯ ВЕЛИЧАЙШЕГО!!!

@dresden3913Swedish investor: "make sure you understand the business behind the company"
Also swedish investor:"let's buy this japanese inventory and retail company" 😅

@b_to_the_bLmao, I like that Africa has 0 valuable companies 😂

I love Howard Mark's quote "there's no such thing as a good or bad idea regardless of price"! Without valuation investments are just a game.
