I'm south indian, n only 1 south indian people out of 4 (that is of Tamils, Kannadigas, Telugus n Malayalis) add coconut in their curries. (We use coconut, but almost never in curries - that is typical meals n households. It is added in gravies - that are more like sidedishes, chutneys n other versions. Only lately cuz of YouTube people venture into coconut in their curries. N since the last 6 or so years when I've been cooking, adding coconut makes my food feel exotic. So, I guess you've been biasedly misinformed - no I'm not lying. Some (you know who therefore) misinform regularly. Cheers

I don't care how good baluut allegedly is, it is aggressively disgusting.
Then again, I do eat prawns, and a lot of people in this country think they look like gross insects with their little wibbily woobily legs.

@nafeekarim1234My family recipe, egg pie, just like an big fried egg, but you first mix the yolks and whites, 5 or 6 eggs, pour into an frying pan with a little olive oil, and spice it, do not stir, only flip it to cook the other side when it's firm enough to not break apart when doing so, then you get it, egg pie, or big fried egg with spices, you name it.

@alexdee5341My absolute favorite way to eat eggs is another Indian dish - eggs lababdar. It is another shakshuka like dish but with the comforting flavors of toasty and warm Indian spices. It is comfort food at its best, at least for me.
