What a great video, I've never understood why folk quit a lap when they make a mistake or are down on their time as i've always felt that keeping your rhythm is really important.

What a great insight into elite driving from a very humble guy. I spent a lot of last week doing Daily Race C at Suzuka and was slowly but surely improving but still miles off the pace of anyone competent. The most striking thing for me is how often he's a gear or two higher than I am in the corners yet gaining time hand over fist. Now I have an understanding of how he's able to do that. Thanks for another excellent video Sam.

So much good advice, thanks Id like to understand dirty tires because he went 2 tires on the grass at the long stretch near the end (does that get you dirty tires and if so, for how long ?) and he says getting 2 tires on the light green gives you dirty tire and if so, for how long ? Thanks again

@ElbonatorI was watching a lot of lap guides for Suzuka and found a @HizalMikail "GT Sport Lap Guide: Hizal shows you how to sizzle at Suzuka" from six years ago. I'm currently in the 2:00.5s so still a distance from the 1.58.2s! It was great to have the commentary on Suzuka. Thanks!
