Video Overview & Insights

Stock up on the essentials with Walgreens: https://bit.ly/cut_walgreens

Now it's 2025 and $100 buys only HALF of these food items.
The inflation is laughably bad.

Haaalp Im looking to convince folks to sign up for the Fetch app with my code 6YTYJ. After you scan a receipt, I get bonus points, you get bonus points. They rack up pretty fast especially during promos. I like to trade my points for walmart gift cards or a restaurant if I feel like treating myself after pinching pennies. plz consider it'll help a lot 🙏

Its wild that in no other developed country is it normal to monitor grocery choices to this extreme. Personally, im at the point of using a CSA buying food online and just quitting with the overwhelming choices of the grocery store.

While this one girl spashes cash on going out every day, i struggle with everything. I cant pay for rent nor food because they refuse to give immigrants student loans or grants and no one wants to hire me either. Im jelly af that they have all of this. Thank god my partner and family support me in my time of need...
Also, please give this mom some donations or something, so she doesnt have to work at night. She might play it cool, but this life doesnt seem easy.

I like how you can see who exactly is privileged and who isn't, especially by just the foods they chose

the craziest part about this video is that they bought all that with $100.. 2025 prices could never

Damn. I’m the girl in white. Hahah Shii I need to figure out how some of them are spending 150 in groceries a month

wannabe actor girl us such a privileged person and she has no idea about it, that's what pisses me off the most

@moths.for.valentine
@

Looking at this in 2024, 100$ can't get you anywhere in a month unless you are willing to eat only canned foods and frozen vegetables and drink water on the east coast.

No one’s talking about the veggie dude and I think we should.Hes the sliglhtly better half of white shirt girl because he atleast recognizes his privilege and budgeted the $100 more effectively with a focus on healthy eating

Anyone here post covid crying at how much $100 used to get you? 😭

@shannondecillis778

the girl who wants to be an actor honestly seems so spoiled. she's likely been coddled all her life and handed everything on a silver platter. the fact that she doesn't see debt as a big deal, doesn't know how to buy proper groceries, doesn't manage her money well at all, relies on her parents for everything- it honestly almost pisses me off.

@BeanieGoth
@

insane how little food you can get with 100 bucks nowadays

@kashe7285

Difference in what 100 gets you now vs then is insane- someone's got to recreate this today-

Ah, living in not that great of a place economically and understanding that 100 is like, food for all my family for a year... I miss eating something what is not a carrot soup and porridge. I gonna have some chicken on new year, but it's sometimes feels so long.
I want a loaf of white bread. But, high sky, those 22 cents... That's not what i can have those years. :/
One day i with go and buy a pizza as big and with stuff what i want. One day. It's nice that someone can be in better position. And it's was a really, really bad idea to see it when you hungry. :D

I'll take 100 miller high lifes please

@alexduvall2866

I would only eat rice and selfmade bread. Now with a job i do the same. I dont see the point of consuming. I have an issue doing something when I know cooperations want me to do. Ads have the reverse effect on me. If someone tells me to buy something i am less likely to do so and more likely to figure it out myself

3:19 perfect editing 💀
The mom is the queen of this video 🫡 hope she makes it 🪻
If the white shirt girl struggled with money and eats everyday out (and all the other things) she didn't learn much :/

I was like wow! They got so many groceries for $100 AND the mom got formula and all those groceries!? And then I realized this was 5 years ago.

As a college student who pays for almost everything myself (My parents pay roughly a fourth of my tution, phone bill, and health insurance), I think I know how to budget well. I work 16 hours a week, making 17 an hour. (I'm an engineering major, so its as much as I can do) Rent is $650, car insurance is $95, and and I try to stay within $170 for groceries for the month. Luckily, I work at my college's dining hall, so I frequently bring home food for free. The rest as misc purchases such as gas, spotify, etc. (which isnt much as I use the bus 90% of the time). During the summer, I use that time for paying for tution working full time. Over highschool I managed to save 13k in total for college, so that definitely helped. I estimate being, hopefully, less than 10k in debt when I graduate.

Broken down, I would say my groceries frequently are 35% frozen, 10% meats, 30% box foods, 15% produce, and maybe 10% snacks. I use coupons to hunt the best deals.

This shows how unfair our system is. The working mom and the girl who didn't get her grants deserve more support. They work hard and budget well (for everyone criticizing the white claws, she said her normal budget was 50 dollars so she splurged) and then there is the spoiled white girl who is completely unaware of how spoiled she is.

@bubbleblow7461

I spend 20$ a week on my food hmm rice and dried beans go far for only 8 $ for a pound dried and 6 pounds of rice

@Lordofthethighs420

3:15 They KNEW what they were doing with the back and forth thing with the struggles

@icantchooseaname6903

My ass would buy a huge bag of rice that'll last me for like a month or two.

And then the rest after that would really depend.
